For all of time, whether men knew it or not, every blessing in this life and the life to come which God gives to the righteous was bought by his own blood through his son.
As Abraham received the justification by faith before circumcision ever was, we if we follow in the footsteps of Abraham inherit the justification by faith - which Abraham received by the blood of Christ shed over a thousand years later than Abraham in earth years - in the eternity of Christ's godhead the blood was shed from before the foundations of the earth.
As Christ said, "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad." Jn 8.
