Exodus 20:4 — 5, “You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in the heavens above, on the earth below, or in the waters beneath. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on their children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me.” This includes living things as well such as animals, plants and people.

When we love our Saviour and King with all our hearts, it casts a joyful light on everything we do. He knows our needs and invites us to exchange our problems for His peace, our sorrows for His joy, our hurt for His hope! We will find all that we need in all that He is!
