If God changed the rules in the past, then he can also change them again tomorrow without consulting or informing you.
"Do X throughout all your generations."
"Stop X. Now do Y throughout all your generations."
It seems fickle to me and I don't see it in the Bible.
For those concerned about Biblical calendars and the timing of feast days...
The Bible never says the new month is supposed to be by the sighted new moon or by an astronomical calculation. We only have the traditions of men to figure it out.
Don't get caught up in ridiculous, divisive arguments about it. Yeshua will straighten it out when he returns. For now, I recommend that you celebrate the Biblical feasts with your local congregation and don't worry about it.

Matthew 24:15—18, “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination of desolation,’ described by the prophet Daniel (let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve anything from his house And let no one in the field return for his cloak.” One could speculate this is the event described in Daniel chapters 10, 11 and 12… only time will tell.
