Winter has been called the season of miracles and with good reason. Christians consider the month of December to be when Yeshua/Jesus was born while the Jewish people celebrate Hanukkah. There are many more miracles that led to the rededication of the Temple than just the oil celebrated today. John 10:22—23, “At that time the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah) took place in Jerusalem. It was winter, 23and Jesus was walking in the temple courts in Solomon’s Colonnade.”

Lily Portion for Today: Tuesday December 05

Ladies, whenever sinful thoughts enter the minds of your family, shatter them against the Rock of Ages, Yeshua Moshiach, through your prayers. (Prayer: What a wonderous thought that You can set my family free Abba. Thank You, that we can confess our sins and needs at Your feet as a prelude to singing songs of triumph, amein)

This one REALLY stood out to me today and motivated me to hear, do and receive this. May it be ABBA.

He who does these things shall never be moved.

Never. Be. Moved.

Hmmm, I have read this chapter a few times and for the first time looked at the definition of "reproach" as I assumed I knew:

To express disapproval of, criticism of, or disappointment in (someone).

synonym: admonish

Wow! We would have to pick our friends very carefully so that we are of one spirit and we don't have a reproach against them as this can be so easy when we disagree on a matter or someone does something we don't "like"...

I'm still pondering your comment.
I know a lot of people I am in fellowship with that i could be critical of or have disappointment with. Sometimes it could even be our own spouses.
So i guess that I'm glad that you put that something we don't "like" in there that may help avoid confusion.
I know that some of those friends or close loved ones could hurt our feelings or upset us. It cant really be avoided. But is that something that should die in us specifically related to this verse? I think of the gift at the alter thing, and making things right. But according to this verse, am I supposed to swallow it and get over it to avoid having reproach?

Like i feel like i need to find some sort of direct examples in scripture where I could get the "feels" for what I should be doing and what this means. I guess ill go check the hebrew?

Thought for Today: Tuesday December 05

We may depend upon YHVH's promises for He will be as good as His Word. He is so kind that He cannot deceive us, so true that He will never break His promises.

Overcome A Sense Of Hopelessness

References:
Hebrews 4:16 / Psalm 55:1 (Message) / Psalm 55:1, 2 (AMP) / Psalm 55:5 – 8 (AMP) / Psalm 55:16, 18, 22 (AMP) / Psalm 56:2-4 (AMP) / Psalm 56:5, 8 (Message) / Psalm 56:13 (Message) Psalm 27:13, 14 (AMP) / 1 Peter 5:7-9 (AMP) + (TLB) / Revelation 12:11

Abba, as your child I come boldly before Your throne of grace, that I may receive mercy and find grace to help in this time of need. Abba, I know that Your ears are open to my prayers. I ask that you listen to my prayer, Abba, and hide not Yourself from my supplication. I ask that you attend to me and answer me for I am restless and distraught in my complaint and must moan. Fear and trembling have come upon me. Horror and fright have overwhelmed me. Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest. Yes. I would wonder a far away. I would lodge in the wilderness. I would hasten to escape and to find a shelter from the stormy wind and tempest. I am calling upon You, my YHVH, to rescue me. You redeem my life in peace from the battle of hopelessness that is against me. I cast my burden on You Adonai, and You sustained me. You will never allow the righteous to be moved. Hopelessness lies in wait for me to swallow me up or trample me all day long. Whenever I am afraid, I will have confidence in, and put my trust and reliance in You. Abba, I will praise Your Word; on You I lean, rely and confidently put my trust. I will not fear. You know my every sleepless night. Each tear and heartache is answered with Your promise. I thank You of all my heart. You pull me from the brink of death, my feet from the cliff edge of doom. Now I stroll in leisure with You in the sunlit fields of life. What would have become of me, Adonai, had I not believed that I would see Your goodness in the land of the living. I wait and I hope for and expect You; I am brave and of good courage and I let my heart be stout and enduring. Yes, I wait for and I hope for and expect You Abba. Adonai, I give you all my worries and cares for you are always thinking about me and watching everything that concerns me. I’m well balanced and careful, vigilant watching out for attacks from satan, my great enemy. By Your grace, I am standing firm, trusting You and I remember that other believers all around the world are going through the same sufferings too. You my YHVH, are full of kindness through Moshiach and will give me your eternal glory. In the Name of Yeshua, I am an overcomer by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of my destiny. Amein.

What would happen if dozens of researchers began comparing notes on what they have found about the migrations of Israel’s Ten Lost Tribes? What if those researchers included representatives of indigenous peoples whose traditions indicate Israelite heritage? That’s what Margot Crossing and her colleagues intend to find out, starting with the Interconnectivity of Ancient Israel in Asia Symposium. This academic conference, held in the city of Aizawl, India, in late November 2023, is the first of its kind. In this two-part conversation, Margot explains what this symposium is all about, and what she hopes will result from it.

Israel’s God exiled all the tribes from the Promised Land for good reason. Yes, both Judah and Ephraim rebelled against their Redeemer, and God judged them for it, but there was a promise in that exile. We learn about it in the story of Jacob, as Barry Phillips and David Jones discuss in this first part of their two-part midrash called, “Exile and Restoration.” We also hear this message in the music of Lenny and Varda and Barry Philips.
