Joseph was content in his role as Potiphar's slave, so much so that Potiphar trusted him in everything that didn't mean putting his life in a third party's hands, such as eating food that could have been poisoned by one of the other servants. Potiphar kept control over his own personal needs, but gave Joseph authority over everything else.
Genesis 39:6

I lose focus very often in life and forget that Father can bless me even as a "secular slave".

Alright homesteaders, preppers, natural-minded folks and the like...
What is a skill, tip, trick that you've normalized for so long that you sometimes forget that 'other people' don't realize is completely normal everyday life?
Let's share and educate the masses! ?

I'll go first... cloth EVERYTHING. No paper towels, no napkins, not even toilet paper. We use cloth everywhere!

My second one, after GidgetsMom one, is: "waste not, want not". I am not a hoarder as such, but see the value in things that we throw away on a daily basis. It is almost like your "cloth everything". Why use a disposable paper item if cloth can be reused.

Once a cloth towl becomes unusable for personal hygiene then it become a floor rag. After that it goes to my shed and is used to soak oil up, or something. Till the point where it needs to be binned, well; if it can't go into my firepit for heat...

Don't get me started to binning food. My family knows that they can dish up as much as they'd like, but once it is on your plate then you finish it. Even if it takes the next three days... When rinsing rice, I won't let one kernel flush down the sink. I have planted many things in my life and I understand how difficult it is to grow most produce if it isn't meant for your region. I therefore don't let anything go to waste.

If you're concerned about the economy, buy silver & gold, but don't hoard cash. The fed just printed almost 800 million $50 bills because people are hoarding cash, which devalues that cash. Buying gold & silver theoretically (as long as the markets aren't being manipulated) increases their value. Don't buy certificates. Get actual metals that you can touch. Even 90% coins (pre 1965) will be valuable. $1.40 face value 90% coins are equal to one troy oz silver. Pre oct 1982 copper pennies are worth 2-3 cents each. You have to weigh the 1982 pennies to know if they are copper or not. Some states have issued goldbacks, but they have inflated values, just like fiat currency. If you invest in them, expect to pay about double the actual gold content.

This week's #torah portion is called #vayeshev and consists of #genesis 37-40. Vayeshev means "and he lived". It's prophetic of Israel's restoration and Yeshua's resurrection.

Here's a list of related New Testament passages, commentary, and videos...

Isaiah 19:2—3, “So I will incite Egyptian against Egyptian; brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. Then the spirit of the Egyptians will be emptied out from among them, and I will frustrate their plans, so that they will resort to idols and spirits of the dead, to mediums and spiritists.” The division that our Creator uses divides people into two general groups, those who choose to follow the Creator completely and those who do not. 1Kings 18:21 “Then Elijah approached all the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him. But if Baal is God, follow him.” But the people did not answer a word.”

Just a thought/question this Sunday afternoon.

While I sit here in my livingroom, studying Scripture about the anti-christ, a thought came to mind; WHAT IF, the anti-christ is not just one person but a group of people or a country? The reason I say this, I have a retirement property in another small country, recently, not far from my place there, an outside government opened a research facility under the disguise of weather studies. But instead what they do not mention is that these "studies" include biological warfare. No-one is allowed to come within 50 miles from the facility. Also, the same group recently started with experiments in Cape Town South Africa, and the reason been given is space research. Therefore, I am just wondering, do we have it wrong? Maybe? About one person as anti-christ? Hope someone can explain more.

I understand that the word only refers to 1 person but any company has a CEO, any country has a prime minister or president, and knowing that there is a secret force behind the governments today, and the view of WHO and WEF, the question is, which group of people, or which government is going to be this guy's confidants?

Rhy Bezuidenhout I tried to post a very long reply and when I hit send it disappeared. Bummer...I guess it was too big, anyways I will try to condense what I wrote here again.
(Capital letters for emphasis only)

So here is my two cents on the matter.

Part 1
Nick Liebenberg Yes the word “ANTICHRIST” occurs only four times in the entire new testament, and is used only by John to mostly describe those who were infiltrating the early Assembly with their deceit. For example 2 John 1:7 "For MANY deceivers have gone out into the world, refusing to confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Any such person is the DECEIVER… AND the antichrist. I think John was using this “ANTI (against) Christ” as a generic term to apply to those who rejected Messiah (the anti missionaries) as well as Gnostics who were teaching Docetism. John, Peter, Jude and Paul were all dealing with the infiltration of deceivers into the Assembly, but John labels the deceivers as “Anti-messiah”. John however makes it evident that there is a “SPIRIT” behind the deceit and it “is ALREADY at work” at the time John wrote his letter in 1 John 4:3. John also drops a big hint about this “SPIRIT” that is “to come”. My conclusion is that this generic term “Anti-Christ” is used by John for the “group” of MANY deceivers led by a Spirit of ANTI-messiah. This vague reference that John uses for a SPIRIT “to come” has become what modern Christianity has labeled “The ANTI-CHRIST” and has miss-applied this spiritual title to The MAN to come when the bible does not use those terms for this coming MAN.

That being said…The bible describes a man as “the Prince that is to come” (Dan 9:26) with many titles such as “The MAN of Law-less-ness, The SON of the DESTROYER (2 Thess 2:3-10, see also Apollyon/ABBADON the DESTROYER Rev 9:11), He is also called “The Assyrian”, “The DESTROYER of nations” (Isaiah 14:3-22), “The wounded head of the Beast from the sea”, (Rev 13:3-1, “The Little Horn” (Dan 7) “The king of a most fierce countenance and understanding dark sentences” (Dan 8) “The Abomination that causes DESOLATION” (Dan 9),

Lily Portion for Today:

Ladies remember, teach your household that life can be a great adventure and journey if they have Yeshua as their Guide and faith as their staff. (Prayer: Abba, You are my family’s Refuge and our Fortress. In distress You have always proved Yourself faithful. Make my family sensitive to recognise Your will in our lives and grant us the grace to be guided continually by Your will for our lives, amen.)

OSTEOPOROSIS/BONE DISEASE

A healing prayer to use when you suffer from osteoporosis or any bone disease

Healing Promise:
“Have mercy on me O Adonai, for I am weak; O Adonai, heal me, for my bones are troubled” (Psalm 6:2 NKJV)

Healing Prayer:
Have mercy on me Adonai YHVH, for I am weak. Heal me of the bone disease of …………… It is my deepest desire Abba, to trust in You with all my heart and not to lean on my own understanding. In all my ways I will acknowledge You and I know You will direct my paths. As I reverence You and depart from evil, I know I will experience health in my body and strength in my bones. Thank You Abba for Your promise of healing. As I pray, I claim Your promise of health and healing. How it thrills my heart to realize Abba, that You desire for me above all else, to prosper and be in health, even as my soul prospers. With joy I believe and receive this promise as the antidote to bone disease. In the same way that the virtue of Yeshua went forth to the multitude and healed them all, I pray that His virtue would bring complete healing and wholeness to me, for I know that Yeshua Moshiach my Adonai is the same today as He was yesterday. He is truly the Great Physician in my life. Thank You Abba. How happy I am to know that Yeshua took my sins so that I could live unto righteousness. It is by His shed blood and the stripes He bore for me that I am experiencing Your healing power my Abba and my YHVH. I thank You with all of my heart. How I love You my Abba and my Adonai Yeshua, Who was wounded because of my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities. The chastisement of my peace was upon Him and with His stripes I am healed. Thank You Abba for healing me. Thank You for restoring health to me, as You have promised. I will attend to Your Words and incline my ear to the truths of Your Word. I will not let them depart from my eyes. I will keep them in the midst of my heart, because I realize that Your Words are life to me and health to all my flesh and bones. Abba, You keep all my bones and not one of them is broken. Your Words are pleasant to my soul and they are health to my bones. Thank You my Adonai and my YHVH. By faith I can now say that You are the healer of my bones. In the matchless Name of Yeshua I pray, amen.
