Paul, the Pharisee - with Dr. Mark Nanos

People don't understand that Paul was not a Jew. He was from the tribe of Benjamin and he was a leader of the Pharisee sect known as Judaism. He approved the deaths of those wanting to keep Yahuah's Torah by the blood of Yahshua, just for Yahuah to convict him along his walk which all his friends got to hear. Paul was the equivalent of an SS officer turned taught one. Paul knew both Torah's like the backs of his hands and if you don't know Yahuah's Torah then you'll fall away after strange teachings leading you away from the Word and into a religion. Traditions of men.

Understanding Paul bible study.
https://docs.google.com/docume....nt/d/1hGO6qE_oGic3-s
Paul is hard to understand for those that do not read scripture through a Hebraic lens. Paul did say unto the Jews I became a Jew. We must understand the context of this. I have found that if you are too set in your hardness on a version, a pronunciation or are too technical in splitting biblical hairs you will lose souls to catch in your net for salvation and following of torah of God's will. I write bible studies to keep the attention of both new and experienced readers and try to mix english, Hebrew and greek together when using the KJV because I was shown
wisdom by Yehovah that if you use any other bible when trying to bring someone into torah and its not a KJV and you speak to a KJV only person they wont hear a single word you say... (ive been turned away by too many KJV only folks to have learned this) over zealous is not good... humble is key. but a non KJV person is not as picky and most of the time will respect the KJV. Hardened anti-KJV people are few but they have their own ideas and are usually stuck in them. God bless them all, I say be humble. ask Yehovah/what ever name you come to the conclusion in your heart and one day He will teach us all and we will learn straight from Him. I ask and pray with fear and trembling always.

Fear is so easy. We entertain it and feed it our whole lives while we starve faith. No wonder we don't see miracles when by our constant expectations of disaster we accuse God of faithlessness. If you say you are inadequate to the mission God gave you, then you misunderstand your mission. Stop looking at yourself and start looking at God! When God says go, go. When God says don't go, don't go.

It's just so hard when you want your whole family altogether in YAH's hand but no matter how hard you tried, they just go back to their old ways, kept on sinning and ignore YAH's will.

Yes it is. And I find praying long term for family and friends to be the hardest. You have to keep pressing on with your prayers when there is no physical evidence of it doing any good. But we are told to be persistent. So we must continue on.

Today I wanted to share an entire 3-part series on character that I wrote back in 2011. A visitor commented that having good character is really about having a good name, and I thought that was great! https://archive.aweber.com/awlist6425868/Hrk6k

You shall not be partial in judgment. You shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not be intimidated by anyone, for the judgment is God's. And the case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me, [Moses,] and I will hear it.
#deuteronomy 1:17

Do not allow fear, peer pressure, or public opinion to taint justice. Do what is right and let God sort out the consequences. #faith

What's more fun than a God commanded festival where you go and camp for 7 days with other believers away from all the problems of the outside world? To me, nothing. This is literally the best time of the year. My wife even enjoys it and she wears a shirt while we are there that says "Indoorsy" (she isn't an outdoor person).

There is a saying about this Feast that it is God inviting us outside to be with Him for 7 days. On that last day, because He has enjoyed our company He asks us to stay one more night, the Last Great Day. If you've looked into Tabernacles, you will see that there are 8 days as part of it. However, the command is for 7 days, and then the 8th day is added on afterward. Some view this as two separate Feasts/Appointed times. I go back and forth on that. Sometimes I read and it seems part of Tabernacles, and other times I read and it does seem separate.

On events that have happened on Tabernacles, we have Solomon's Temple being dedicated at the start of the Feast. (2 Chronicles 7), and Jesus/Yeshua was more than likely born during this Festival. We even have John 1 say that He came and tabernacled with us. He was born in a manger, which most depictions of this manger look very similar to a traditional Tabernacle.

In prophecy, Tabernacles paints a picture of time. 7 days of 1,000 years (as in Scripture it states in a few places that a day is like 1,000 years to God) and the 8th day representing eternity.

Our families observance is getting together with a group of believers and going to a campsite and hanging out for the festival. We gather on some of the days to pray, read, discuss and sometimes share a meal. There are typically other events that people attending offer. I have taught classes the last several and will teach a different class this year as well.

This is the last Feast to cover. In all these I have given short summaries of events and prophecy, but there is so much more. I hope you will take the time and look more into each of these.
