You Can't Tell Me What to Do! -

We in the west are conditioned to be convinced of everything. We have no concept of authority, let alone the authority we will be under in the kingdom of Yahweh. Are you willing to shed your liberty for salvation or are you in the "You can'

Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
Luke 18:10

In this parable, both men stood alone, but for different reasons. The Pharisee standing by himself was, no doubt, in the thick of the crowd so that he could claim pride of place and be observed, but the tax collector was standing away from the crowd, trying not to draw attention to himself. This is like what #yeshua said about claiming a place at the table. The Pharisee went straight for the head of the table and demanded that no one sit near him. The tax collector went to the end of the table and was grateful just to be invited.

Been working on some poetry. I hope it blesses someone. There is music to this also, but i havent recorded any of it yet.

A day that seemed lost

Stacking bricks in mitzrayim
Waiting crippled at the pool in Bethsaida
When we didn't know your name

Standing still
Before the golden image
When we heard shrill,
The zither and the lyre
Thrown with you into the flame

We woke up in sin,
She went to fetch the water
And came back saying

Come, let us stay for a while
Come, let us drink of the water of life
Come, let us stay for a while
Come, let us sit at the feet of Messia

Proverbs 30 is ascribed to a man named Agur, but nobody knows for sure who he was. Some believe it's another name for King Solomon, but this chapter is very different from the rest of #proverbs, and there are some clues in the text that might point to someone else.
