Teach a child in the way he should go....but the rest is between him and God. You can show him the path, but you can't make him walk it. You can't live your child's life for him.
In Joshua 22:7-9, Joshua sends the half-tribe of Manasseh back to their land on the east side of the Jordan with a blessing and much material wealth. Does the Bible teach that wealth is a curse or a blessing?
Maybe a little of both.

Abba teaches us to enter Wisdom (His Teachings, Covenant relationship with Him through Yeshua) humbly as a child, just as we’re to ascend the Mountain of YHWH with pure hands and hearts. Only the pure in heart (those pursuing His heart) will see Him.

What is religion? The Oxford English dictionary defines religion as “the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.” Noah Webster in 1828 restricts this concept to the Creator however through the evolution of language today’s definition could be used to describe several different beliefs including atheism. So when someone asks “what religion are you?” Your answer may be very general or very specific and either would be correct. When someone asks “Do you believe in God?” You could answer “Which one?” You would still be correct in that response.
