You can't get to the Promised Land without going through the Wilderness. Once in the Promised Land, if you forget the lessons of the Wilderness, God will send you back again.

Nothing worth having is easy. If life seems too easy, if you aren't facing any great challenges, you're probably not taking full advantage of what God has given you. The challenges are there, waiting for you to pick them up. Always be looking for opportunities to become better and more than you are--spiritually, intellectually, physically...in every conceivable way.

#haazinu, the name of this week's #torah portion (Deuteronomy 32), means "give ear". Here are some corresponding Apostolic passages to study along with related commentary and videos: https://www.americantorah.com/....2021/02/18/parsha-ha

How do you Sukkot???

We're not quite there yet but I know some have already begun. As we begin packing for Sukkot today, I'm curious... What are some of your must-have items for Sukkot? Whether you're camping, staying home, eating outside or stuck inside, what are some things that you hold dear for this joyous celebration?

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine, and does them, shall be like a wise man who built his house on the rock,
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 7:24 TS2009

And DOES THEM! It doesn't say merely 'whoever proclaims believe'. That's only the beginning! Religion teaches to TALK about Scripture, Scripture teaches to DO IT!

Thought for Today: Sunday October 02:

We can never grasp the horror of human sin until we realize it caused the Son of Elohiym to be crucified. Not Pilate, nor Judas or the mob – but sin… The terrible bitter cup of humanity’s sin sent Him to the cross. Yeshua prayed in those last hours: O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will. – Matthew 26:39. Why did He drink that awful cup? So that we do not have to. Sin is the second most powerful force in the universe, for it sent Yeshua to the cross. Only one force is greater and that is the Love of YHVH!

We tend to pick and choose our food based on our tastes. That's not a problem when our tastes coincide with good nutrition, but too often nutrition has very little to do with our preferences. If that's the case with physical food that we take into our bodies, what about the food that we take into our spirits?
