Blow the shofar at the new moon -
sound an alarm in Zion!
For it is a statute for Israel,
a rule of the God of Jacob.

So we get saved, and then life turns out much better, right? All our problems get solved, there’s no more conflict and trouble, and we live blessed, peaceful lives from that point on. Isn’t that how it works?
No, actually. Sometimes – many most of the time – life gets more difficult and the trials become harder. That’s what Mark Randall experienced after our Redeemer broke into his life one night in jail. Mark will tell you he didn’t become a saint overnight. Many other divine interventions kept him on the right track, or at least kept him from straying too far, but his journey with Messiah Yeshua was rocky from the start.
Mark’s story is actually an encouragement and a challenge to cling every more tightly to our Redeemer. That’s what we hear in the music of Rut Banks and Jimmie Black, and in the midrash Barry and David bring about “Discerning Our Life.”

Shalom! Take a look at our 2 lessons we offer this week for parsha Terumah. In lesson 19.1 called "Blueprints for the Mishkan Furnishings" we will begin learning further instructions Yahweh gave Mosheh while he was on the mountain— particularly the details regarding the construction of His portable Dwelling Place. We will see exactly how Yahweh wanted Mosheh to make the furniture pieces, for both the Set-apart Place and the Most Set-apart Place as well as the oil for the lampstand and incense for the altar of incense. These furniture pieces were: 1) the ark of the Witness 2) the table of Showbread 3) the lampstand and 4) the altar of incense. In order to get the most complete picture of the furniture pieces, this lesson will include verses from a number of other parshas as well.
In 19.2 called "Blueprints for the Mishkan" we will be further learning about the instructions Yahweh gave to Mosheh while he was on the mountain regarding the coverings/curtains and veils of the Dwelling Place, as well as its boards (structure/walls).
You can find these lessons as well as all our lessons at: https://ymtoi.org/
We hope that Parsha Pearls blesses your home and remember to share any comments or photos with us on our YMTOI Facebook page or email us at: parshapearls@mtoi.org. We love to hear from our followers!

Thought for Today: Monday January 31:
YHVH is with you in all that you do, even in the most menial task. He is always aware of you, concerned with every detail of your life. Nothing escapes His notice – not even the number of hairs on your head. However, your awareness of His Presence falters and flickers; as a result, your life experience feels fragmented. When your focus is broad enough to include Him in your thoughts, you feel safe and complete. When your perception narrows so that problems or details fill your consciousness, you feel empty and incomplete. Learn to look steadily at YHVH in all your moments and all your circumstances. Though the world is unstable and in flux, you can experience continuity through your uninterrupted awareness of YHVH’s Presence. Fix your gaze on what is unseen, even as the visible world parades before your eyes.
