Thought for Today: Shabbat February 26:

You are YHVH’s beloved child! He chose you before the foundation of the world, to walk with Him along paths designed uniquely for you. Concentrate on keeping in step with Him, instead of trying to anticipate His plan for you. If you trust that His Plans are to prosper you and not harm you, then you can relax and enjoy the present moment. Your hopes and your future are rooted in heaven, where eternal ecstasy awaits you. Nothing can rob you of your inheritance of unimaginable riches and well-being. Sometimes YHVH grants you glimpses of your glorious future, to encourage you and spur you on. But your main focus should be staying close to Him. He will set the pace in keeping with your needs and His purposes.

I just learned a new word which I will absolutely use: "Shabbatnics" Now I can say things like "I love Shabbating with my favorite Shabbatnics."

I visited the Russian Baptist Church again as usual for the Friday evening Bible study. I was blessed as usual and even met some interesting people. The Russians got into a conversation about the Sabbath and as it was in Russian I did not understand it too well. After a bit, one of the young ladies told her friend in an undertone, that the Sabbath was not changed and that we are still to rest on Saturday. The visitors that said that are going to be here Sunday still so I may visit again just to make the connections. I have been looking for Shabbatnics and I think I have found some.
Also, as a side note, they do not believe in or agree with the war. The most precious prayer time this evening was actually spent praying for Ukraine.

Shabbatnics are Slavic Torah keepers. If you visit a Russian or Ukrainian and asked about Shabbatnics, they would look at you funny and ask where you heard about them. The word in Russian is шаьатнек.

For example. In talking to some Ukrainian and Russian people, they told me (when I asked) that there are three different Slavic churches. Pentecostal, Baptist, and Shabbatnic.

"Yet My Heart Yearns For Zion" - The Unexplainable Pull To Abraham's Inheritance

Does your heart yearn for Zion? I haven't thought much of the land of Israel in times past. Even after I realized Yeshua's love for the Torah and His people. I was quite comfortable where I was, still am in many ways. I even went on a trip to Isra

Beautiful song!! Abba started about 3 years ago drawing my heart towards Zion when He added the Aaron Shust song to my life soundtrack. Before I came to Torah! Love hearing how He has drawn His people to His side. ❤

Whenever pregnant women think of childbirth, there's a bit of nervousness, I think. It's like being on a conveyor belt, headed to the unknown, even if they have been through it before. I did this study for myself when I was pregnant with my third child and it really helped strengthen my faith.

Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control. Timothy 2:15

Now, at first glance, doesn't this seem unfair?

What about women who are infertile? Or single, or widowed without kids?

Will they not be saved?

Paul wrote that being single was fine.

But I say to the unmarried and to the widows:
It is good for them if they remain even as I am...
1st Corinthians 7:8

And God is the One who decides when a child is born.

But to Hannah he would give a double portion, for he loved Hannah, although the YHWH had closed her womb. 1st Samuel 1:5

Will they not be saved?

No!

Salvation is a free gift!

It's the emphasis that is incorrect- she shall be saved through childbearing
not
she shall be saved through childbearing.

This is a promise for childbearing women to cling to in the most personal, painful times of our lives. He created our bodies, and He is there to save and sustain us through all the consequences of the Fall.
Praise the Creator!

Oh wow! I get it! Thanks sis. Halleluyah! I should mention, too, that Andrew Gabriel Roth has worded 2 Tim. 2:15 a little differently in his Aramaic English New Testament. Stand by, I will go find it...

YHVH bless these brave Ukrainians and rebuke the evil dictator. It is hard to say Shabbat shalom when we know an evil dictator is raining down fire on innocent people and those who have the power to stop him are cowards who value a stock market over human life. Yeshua come quickly.
