It's not always wrong to lie or disobey the government, and there is no commandment against deceiving your enemies to gain advantage or to save lives. Fear God rather than man and don't elevate peace or conformity above his instructions.

1) He knew about the prophesied deliverer.
2) It's easier to assimilate and control women.
3) Too many single men means more potential for violence.
4) Keep the men busy trying to provide for more women and children.
