Today's Poem: What Did You Say, Adonai?
They were lonely and I gave them no friendship;
They were sad and I gave them no cheer;
They were despairing and I gave them no hope.
Yet I say, “Where have I failed Thee, Adonai?”
Their child was sick, but I polished silver;
They had no income, but I showed them my new suit;
their family let them down, but I went shopping.
Yet I say, “Where have I failed Thee, Adonai?”
Their confidence was betrayed, then I told them the pastor’s faults;
their faith was faltering, then I was critical of the church;
their souls sought salvation, then I hurried off to my club.
Yet I say, “Where have I failed Thee, Adonai?”
Wait! Did I hear Him say,
“You do not understand their needs.”
Did I hear Him say, “You were too busy.”
Did I hear Him say, “You are of little faith.”
Or did He say, “Why call Ye me ‘Adonai’?”
Blessed are You Adonai Eloheinu. You forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all iniquity. You give us a chance to start every day anew. Father, may Your Church be an accepting and loving Church. May it help those who are paralysed by fear and doubt. May it reach out to those who do not know of Your love and bring them to You. We know that we are part of Your mission and we pray for all who are involved in outreach. We pray tonight for all who are struggling to survive. We pray for those suffering from drought or floods, from earth quakes and tsunami’s and all who are underfed or homeless. Bless all who work for the relief of the poor and troubled. We give thanks for our friends and family, especially for those who brought us to know You. We pray for all who teach Your Word, in our churches and all who set an example of care and love in our community. Yahuah, let Your presence bring comfort to the suffering; may they know Your love and care. We pray for all who are paralysed, with a disability, sickness, injury or suffering from strokes or heart attacks. We pray for all who have lost a loved one recently and ask that You comfort them and give them peace. We give thanks for the power of the resurrection and that You offer us eternal life. We ask that You keep us save during this night. We pray this in the Name of our Saviour King Yeshua Moshiach, amein.
Shalom Chaverim,

So over a month ago now I quit my job due to the jab requirements in gov't offices. Since then I have applied to numerous jobs, have had interviews with 7 different companies [got second interviews with a few of them], but the door was closed on every single one of them.
So Abba has lead me to start my own virtual assistant business. I have the knowledge and skill to do it, now I just need the clients.
So...if you know anyone looking for a virtual assistant to help with things like managing their calendar, email and social media, travel planning, event planning and any other day to day tasks, please send them my email jess.s0486@gmail.com or they can reach out to me here.
Take a look at our 2 lessons we offer this week for parsha Lech Lecha. In lesson 3.1 called "Lot's Captivity" we will be covering the story of the strife and separation of Abram and his nephew Lot. We will also read the story of the war between the four sovereigns (kings) vs. the five sovereigns wherein Lot was taken captive and his uncle Abram rescued him. Then we will learn about Malkitsedeq sovereign of Shalem who was given Abram's tithe.
In 3.2 called "Covenants" we will be looking at the covenants that Yahweh made with Abram and his seed. First we will read about His promise to give Abram his heir Yitshaq. Then we will see how He makes a covenant with Abram, promising to give his seed the land of Kena’an as an inheritance. Last, we will watch Yahweh introducing a physical sign of entering His covenant: the requirement of circumcision for all males. We will also learn the new names that Yahweh gave Abram and Sarai.
