Bold as a Lion
By Dr Garth Grenache
and his Lighter Orchestra
2025:4:21
[Verse 1]
Thy servant kept his father’s sheep,
When lion came or bear did creep.
A lamb they seized, but I pursued,
And struck them down with strength imbued.
[Chorus]
Bold as a lion,
By the Lord’s might,
Clothed in His truth,
Armed for the fight.
[Verse 2]
The Satan prowls with cunning guise,
To snare the weak with whispered lies.
But those who kneel and rise in grace,
Will see him flee before their face.
[Chorus]
They’re bold as a lion,
By the Lord’s might,
Clothed in His truth,
Armed for the fight.
[Verse 3]
Submit to God; resist the foe—
The devil flees when faith does show.
Stand firm in truth, His Word your sword;
Anointed has your sweet reward.
[Chorus]
Be bold as a lion,
By the Lord’s might,
Clothed in His truth,
Armed for the fight.
Clothed in His truth,
Armed for the fight.
[Chorus]
Bold as a lion,
By the Lord’s might,
Clothed in His truth,
Armed for the fight.
[Chorus]
Bold as a lion,
By the Lord’s might,
Clothed in His truth,
Armed for the fight.
Thought for Today: Monday April 21
Be at peace and rest in YHVH’s Presence, allowing Him to take charge of today. Do not rush into the day like an athlete running the hundred-meter race. Instead, walk purposely with Him, allowing Him to direct your course one step at a time. Remember to thank Him for every situation along the way – this will give joy to you and Him. A grateful heart protects you from negative thinking. Thankfulness enables you to see the abundance He gives you daily. To give thanks in all situations, is His will for you.
