Here's a list of Apostolic/New Testament passages I recommend for #bilbestudy with Torah Parsha #shemini ("eighth" #leviticus 9-11), plus links to related commentary and video: https://www.americantorah.com/....2021/02/07/parsha-sh
Please share this with your pastor — they may not be aware of this critical truth. This isn’t just a history lesson; it’s a wake-up call to rethink everything we’ve assumed about today's world holiday happening RIGHT NOW! Time is of the essence. For the sake of the flock, we must revisit the ancient Quartodeciman controversy — a powerful and often overlooked dispute over the true timing of Messiah’s resurrection observance. Discover how the early followers of Yahshua wrestled with tradition, Torah, and truth.

Hopefully, you might use this handy readings chart for the Omer Count up to Shavuoth.
The 1st column of each table gives the day of the omer count.
The 2nd column gives you the number of weeks for that particular day.
The 3rd column give the number of days to add to that week.
The 4th column gives the readings from the Psalms.
The 5th column gives the readings from the Proverbs.
The 6th column has reading from the Pirke Avoth (Ethics of the Fathers), which might be found as a booklet on our website, at: https://sabbathkeepersfellowsh....ip.org/documents/boo
We have found this chart very useful over the years. If you have any questions about how to use it, please feel free to contact us or leave a comment below.

Firstly, I totally agree with "YHVH can easily remove the rich, powerful, and proud regardless of what elite status".
Should we however automatically assume riches and the external display of it are synonymous with pride?
When a person living in Africa has a knife with an ivory handle, should we then automatically assume they are rich? Maybe nowadays, but in the days of the building in the article, I would rather have thought that the person was either a good hunter and killed an elephant for the tusk or inherited the knife.
Should we assume that people we think are rich nowadays are so or might they be in so much debt that they have less free cash than the average middle-class person?
Where do we draw the line in our assessment of what is riches? A person living on the streets may think that my 14 year old Mondeo is their dream car; for me on the other hand it needs urgent replacement. Is that decadence on my part? Is a believer only allowed to own an old car so that it doesn't seem like they have money? Hmmm, from my perspective that would mean no Tesla's or Ford F150s; not even to mention any top end cars...
Abraham was blessed even when he lied about Sarah being his sister. He was wealthy even in today's standards and if he didn't move so much might have built such a building for himself. Having lived in a caravan for nearly 3 years with my family to save on costs, I know that a person can have some extras in a tent which the average person wouldn't think of to have in a tent. I am therefore thinking that Abraham didn't have to live in a tattered old tent and may have had some luxuries which was considered more than the average for most people.
