Here's today's sermon, called "You shall be perfect." There's a special mention of Pastor Opoku in the beginning: https://firstfruits.cc/blog/20....24/06/15/you-shall-b I pray this one clears up any confusion on this issue, for our boast is in Yeshua alone! Praise be to God!
Still time to join us if you like.

Question:
The Berean Study Bible translates "between the evenings" as "twilight". On back to back sabbaths, like today and tomorrow, is that period of time a sort of no man's land between the days? What I'm wondering is, would the market have opened for that period of up to 90 minutes in ancient times? Are we allowed to do essential chores during that time, beyond the "doing good is lawful", like drawing water? Is cooking allowed in that time? Am I making sense?
Here’s an example of why we must Question Everything…
There’s a ton of great stuff in this podcast in general (and we recommend it) but episodes like this represent the Messy side of the Messianic Movement.
Repeated fictional history and mythology purportedly of Babylon but really just concocted out of a balderdash of the Reverend Alexander Hislop.
It does little good for us to come out of the proverbial Babylon that is the church only to take up another lie about the lies we used to believe when we were a part of that Babylon.
We are after the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
And a lie about a lie is still a lie.

Do we really believe the Master when He said these kinds of things? Either He is speaking hyperbolically (as He often does) or literally (as He often does aswell).
If hyperbolically, then we need to work on our walk. If literally, then we REALLY need to work on our walk.
Either way, we need to work on our walk.
We aught to either be capable of great feats we find beyond our capacity to accomplish, or we should be able to perform the impossible.
Whichever way He meant it, we are failing miserably, and we need to get moving in The Way.
