Especially for anyone new to a Messianic path we can not recommend this book enough - Time Is the Ally of Deceit by Richard Rives.
If you have just begun to question this will help you find what to look for.
One of the most important points of The Path is to understand that indeed Time Is the Ally of Deceit.
Time changes what people believe is true and unless we can go back and learn what was and what changed and when and why and how, we can never understand how far off we are from true in our time.
Unfortunately the website where this book was available (toolong.com) is no longer up but copies can still be found on eBay for cheap. About $16. Occasionally copies appear on ThriftBooks aswell. Best to avoid Amazon as the book is oddly listed for $160.
And if you are not new we still recommend keeping a copy around for those who are.

Where is Easter in the Bible? Bunnies, eggs, and a sunrise resurrection when the tomb was found empty before the sun came up. Problems galore!

Modern historians depend on old manuscripts, artifacts archeology and various other items which tell about the history of mankind and the earth we live on. David offers a different point of view. Psalm 143:5, “I remember what happened long ago, I recall everything you have done, I think about all you have made.” David looks at history believing the Bible, neither trying to prove it or disprove it, but simply believing it is true.
Are premium Bibles worth it?
Some Bibles cost a lot of money. Some cost over $100, $200 and even $300.
I bought the Halleluyah Scriptures Complete Edition which, with shipping included, cost about $400 U.S. dollars. It came with 84 books including the Apocrypha and a few other extra-biblical books in addition to the OT and NT. It comes with two reference books built in called Name Meanings and Torah of YHWH. It is large print and leather bound. I think it is worth the high price because of the great deal of quality in designing it.
What is your opinion? Are premium Bibles worth it or are they a waste of money?
