Birthday celebrations - Is it allowed?
This is a question that has been running through my mind since coming to Torah.
I was strictly speaking a purest and assumed that if something isn't instructed, that it therefore isn't permitted.
I am currently of the understanding that because something isn't mentioned in the Bible doesn't mean it didn't exist or wasn't in use.
As example, forks and plates aren't explicitly mentioned and yet people had to eat from and with something. Archaeology proved that forks and plates existed at the time of writing the various books and yet it is not mentioned in Scripture.
If we go by the instruction in the wilderness, we would all be using a shovel when we have to relieve ourselves as no further instruction is given on personal hygiene. What about weight management, balanced meals, health and exercise? All are then illegal...
What is your view on celebrating birthdays and why do you believe it? Is it a doctrine, Scriptural evidence or just something you haven't thought about?

Many of you on here if not all will have to remember Deuteronomy 4 when y'all find yourselves in tribulation for profaning the Sabbath disobeying Yahh and going ahead and engaging the feasts before it's time that's rebellion which is as the sin of witchcraft also for not fulling the Royal law warning/loving your neighbors a whole lot of y'all are going into some scary times unless you repent before the 6th seal opens hope to see many in the he kingdom still I ain't going to sugar coat things though the tribulation will be a horrendous time for those to whom the wrath of Yahh is appointed.

[29] But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.
