Jacob's sheep were all spotted. Laban took the spotted sheep that he promised to Jacob, but God supernaturally gave them back to Jacob anyway. This is a picture of God's people. Our lineage is confused and cloudy. We aren't perfect, just chosen and forgiven. God gave Jacob marked sheep from unmarked parents. Like children of Abraham from stones. Satan tries to divide God's kingdom against itself, but God preserves a remnant that becomes even greater.
God knows His people. What are the signs by which He marks them? The Sabbath and the Law.

Maybe if we can make elections mean anything at all. I suspect the only remaining purpose for campaigning is to communicate a message, since the entire election process is owned by America's enemies. I hope I'm wrong.
