Thought for Today: Thursday October 21:

Trust in Yahuah with every fibre of your being! What He can accomplish in and through you is proportional to how much you depend on Him. One aspect of this, is the degree to which you trust Him in a crisis or major decision. Some believers fail miserably here, while others are at their best in tough times. Another aspect is even more telling: the constancy of your trust in Him. People who rely on Him in the midst of adversity may forget about Him when life for them is going smoothly. Difficult times can put you into awareness of your need for Him, whereas smooth sailing can lure you into the stupor of self-sufficiency. Yahuah care as much about your tiny trust-steps through daily life as about your dramatic leaps of faith. You may think that no one notices but the One who is always beside you sees everything – and rejoices. Consistently trusting in Yahuah is vital to flourishing in His presence.

For several years, I've been compiling a list of #newtestament passages to read and study with each of the annual #torah portions, and I've been publishing them on my websites as they are completed. I don't have a list for every Parsha yet, but I'm getting there.

You can check out the recommended reading lists I *have* completed here:

God would have spared Sodom if one man in a thousand was righteous. That doesn't sound like the capriciously vengeful God that so many people think he is. Elohim is slow to anger, eager to forgive. However, God does not forgive without repentance. Refusal to turn from sin is the same as rebellion and self-condemnation.

Yah seems to condemn when a person has fully submitted their life to serving the enemy. Even this destruction is merciful because these evil doers cause the children that follow to have eternities of damnation. Yah’s plan is eternal and He cares about EVERY soul and can see the following generations before we know what’s going on. Think about all the people that were left alive that Yah said to kill every one...we see them mentioned again with sin abounding and multiplying with the following generations. It truly breaks His heart.

Just wanted to share the man's work that the creator used to show me, that even tho I thought I believed the Bible I truly didn't and once I did I had to realize it is truly true from cover to cover and to the reality of our realm! And to his true instructions and how they have never changed
Love and peace to his family and friends.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Many people have expressed their frustration with the typical church of today. For whatever reasons, they do not feel they are being fed what they need or they are just fed up with all of the paganism disguised as Christianity.

I wanted to remind everyone about our webinar tonight at 8pm Eastern, on "tough questions" family and friends ask us about Torah. My husband has been deeply studying and praying, to help answer all the questions we received. I've been praying much, too, and we have other dear friends praying. It seems like this is an important webinar!

Here is a link to register. If you can't attend live, we'll be posting a link in our Homeschooling Torah community forum. (You're all welcome to join that, not just paid members.) If that won't work for you, message me and ask me to send you the private replay link, okay? I don't want anyone to miss out. ❤

God stopped to tell Abraham what he was about to do to Sodom because he wanted to invite Abraham to interceded on their behalf. He took God up on that invitation by appealing to God's own character and reputation (his name) to intercede on behalf of the people of Sodom. An illustration for us on how to approach God and a witness to Abraham's merciful, generous character.

Abraham knew Sodom was a moral cesspit. He didn't want anything to do with them, but he still tried to save them. He didn't try to save only the few righteous, but the many wicked as well.

I don't know quite what to think of that.

When we understand that the wicked are the deceived and not the deceiver we have the freedom to love them like Messiah. When someone has the gift of seeing in the spirit they can see the demons that rip their claws into the back, neck and abdomen on humans with a promise of relief if they will afflict another. Only to find it mildly temporary and then the claws sink deeper and more painfully. So my heart hurts for the wicked hand and is risen to heated anger against the real enemy. In this season I have prayed and been guided to humble myself by abstaining from eating meat for 14 days and to pray for salvation for the people that torment and do cruel things to animals and other humans this month. An intersession like Abraham.

Blessed are You Yahuah Eloheinu, Owner of Light and Life. We rejoice in Your presence and seek to live fully in Your light. By the Word that created light out of darkness, grant that Your light may shine in Your Church. Let our lives be filled with Your light that others may be drawn to Your light. Let Your Church throughout the world be radiant with Your love. Adonai, by the light that has come into the world, reveal Your peace and justice to the nations. Guide our rulers and thinkers that we may live in harmony and generosity and that none may hunger or suffer from want. Father, by the Light that shines in the face of Yeshua Moshiach, fill our homes with Your love and joy. Bless our loved-ones, families, friends and all whom we meet. Father, by the light that destroys darkness, bring hope and comfort to all who suffer, all who are ill, all who have a disability and all victims of crime. We pray especially for those whose lives are darkened by fear or their past. We ask that Your light shine in and around us that our sins may be forgiven and that all evil will flee from us. We thank You for all that we have and our daily Word. And we pray this in the Name of our King and Messiah, Yeshua Moshiach. Amein.

For if the blood of goats and of bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who have been defiled sanctifies to the extent of cleanness of the flesh, how much more will the blood of the Christ, who through an everlasting spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works that we may render sacred service to the living God?
#hebrews 9:13-14

“Dead works” are those actions that transgress the Law and thus put us under its jurisdiction. The blood of bulls and goats is effective for sanctifying the flesh, but completely ineffective for sanctifying the spirit from those dead works. (Although sin is both physical and spiritual, it should be clear from the context that the author is referring to sin’s taint on the soul in 10:4.) The present tense used by the author is especially important. The blood of bulls and goats is effective for the flesh and is not effective for the spirit. In fact, the temple sacrifices were never effective for sanctifying the spirit.

Amen brother! That’s why we need Yeshua AND obedience. The 4 steps of Christians is found in the book of romans. Belief, salvation, baptism, and obedience in Torah. Mainstream Christians forget the last step and don’t really know the purpose of baptism.

I would wager that no topic in scripture is as misunderstood as the sacrifices. The animal sacrifices in Torah were ALWAYS serving a different purpose than Yeshua’s death.

I have a question. Now that we don’t do animal sacrifices, many people say it’s Because of Yeshuas death on the cross. So why don’t we do animal sacrifices if Yeshua didn’t “fulfill” that physical need but only the spiritual need?
