Thought for Today: Friday October 22; Watching over you
Cast your burdens on Yahuah. And let Him sustain you; He never allows the righteous to be shaken --- Psalm 55:22
Thank Yahuah constantly for watching over you and protecting you. Visualize your loved ones as being protected by the everlasting arms and supported by the great hand of Yahuah. In every difficult situation, thank Yahuah for seeing you through. Why not offer a prayer of thanksgiving right now?
Too many losing lawsuits? Simple, split your company, then file bankruptcy. Its puts all the cases on pause, and gives you time to let people die off, and of course limit damages so you don't have to pay for your mistakes.

To my brethren who have decoupled from the rabbinic calendar, who are not barley-dependent, and who seek the light, I wish you a blessed Feast of Tabernacles. Chag sameach!

There are numerous parallels between the stories of Lot's exodus from Sodom and Israel's Exodus from Egypt:
-Bargaining to save the condemned.
-10 men to save Sodom. 10 chances to save Egypt.
-A meal with unleavened bread.
-Blood at/on the door.
-The wicked struck by an angel.
-Death outside the house.
-The chosen/righteous led to safety by an angel.
-Some evacuees wanted to turn back to Sodom/Egypt.
-A detour into the wilderness.
-Perversion in the wilderness.
The common elements that link different Bible stories are important. They aren't there by accident. Pay attention.

By his hospitality, Lot marked himself as a righteous man compared to his peers. Righteousness and wisdom usually go together, but Lot shows us that they don't have to.
Lot chose to live in Sodom and even became one of the city elders. In Genesis 19:14, we learn that he had betrothed his daughters to men of Sodom. He was full of bad ideas. Maybe he thought his children could witness to the other kids at Sodom Public School. Who is really raising your children? Sodom and the NEA or godly people according to God's word?

I have never cared for "rights of passage". It's the idea that if something had a certain level of difficulty for one person then it has to have that difficulty for all. This is similar to begrudging someone for success, particularly success you have yet to attain. Never do this. Yahweh gives and takes away and does all things in due season. We should be happy and give praise that He is in control while also making the paths smoother for those who follow similar paths.
