I wanted to post an update about the agenda to make Bibles illegal in the United States. They are already illegal in certain countries as I'm sure many of you already know. Already in Utah some of the schools have banned Bibles and other states are considering it as well. This is usually how these things get started until it grows bigger. Hopefully on sites like this one and on my own sites we won't be affected and they won't be able to control what we do here. We need to stick together all around the world.

Matthew 16:13-20 is chock full of controversial bits. Son of Man, Peter the Rock, Gates of Hell, keys to the kingdom, binding and loosing, etc. Did Jesus declare Peter to be the first pope? Or is there more to it? There is so much here to misunderstand if you don't approach the passage thoughtfully.

How have you added to God's Law? Do you keep new "sacraments"? Have you invented new sins?
How do you subtract from God's Law? Have you rejected His holy days? Do you say that God doesn't care what you eat?

It would mean a radical shift in the western countries that aren't Muslim to totally ban Bibles. It's not impossible, but would be a significant shift and I truly can't imagine what the large controlling churches would do if it happens.
