Isaiah 28 is still sitting on my mind. I gotta say, Yahuah's people acted like He was speaking a foreign language when He told them to stop worshipping idols. Today the same delusion that you can call Him whatever you want and that you can make an image of anything and pretend that that is the Creator is just as strong today. Mass delusion is our problem. We put ourselves in that situation by taking down barriers and stepping on the line, when in fact, if you think you are stepping on the line then you are already over the line and that is when you step away. Not just a foot, but 10. Stay away or fall away. HalleluYah! Shalom, fellow humans!
#exodus 9:35 says that Pharaoh hardened his own heart. The Hebrew word for hardened in this verse is chezek, which also means to strengthen. The very next verse, 10:1, says that God hardened Pharaoh's heart. The Hebrew word for hardened in the 2nd verse is chabad, which also means to make heavy (as in important) or to glorify.
The implication is that Pharaoh resolved to defy God, so God encouraged him by inflating his ego, making him think that he might be able to get away with it.

Lily Portion for Today: Sunday January 14
Nobody can live without faith; the primary requirement for the adventure of life is courage, and the lifeblood of courage is faith. (Prayer: Abba, transform my family’s thoughts so that we shall be able to face the challenges of each day with faith in our hearts and in the Name of Moshiach. Amein)
Paul asks a pointed question in Romans 3:1, what is the advantage of being from the tribe of Judah? the answer has been misunderstood by far too many people. Romans 3:2, “Much in every way. First of all, they have been entrusted with the very oracles (words) of God.” These words were given to all of the children of Jacob but with most of the tribes scattered. The “Jews” or the descendants of Judah were the majority of who was left to preserve those words which is what we know as the Old Testament.
My Sabbath post this time will be a link to another post that was a blessing to read. 🙂
