OOMs ?
Grids in six-directional hexahedron-sectioned labyrinth of labyrinths fractally. The pattern of the thin bars pressed into the skin of the knees, as we wait to choose another right, left, up, down: forward is blocked.
Spiky beams shatter on the myriads of blockages, the shifting the shadows to create more confusion than illumination. When a kind of night falls, we can follow the faint heat without such distractions.
The heat guides us towards the barely audible beating of many drums - or one heart.

Shalom, friends,
We invite you to join us live on Zoom and YouTube at 4pm Central Standard Time on this Sabbath afternoon, 08/24/2024, for scripture study and prayers. The lesson for the day is titled:
"YOU HAVE LEPROSY"
This week's study is one you won't want to miss, as we are beginning a new series on the scriptural topic of Shemirath Halashon - Guarding the Tongue.
Do you think you know what Lashon Hara (Evil Speech) is, according to scripture? Do you think you are truly Torah observant as regards this terrible sin? Odds are, you do not and are not. Why don't you join us this Sabbath day and find out?

God often grants victory in ways that don't seem right to us. He has a longer and more informed point of view. For example, God promised to withhold power from #israel until they were ready for it. Too much, too fast leads to disaster. This is true for everyone.
See Deuteronomy 7:22-23, Proverbs 19:10 & 30:21-23.
Complacency allows evil to take root and grow. Keep the faith even when all seems right with the world. Continued obedience, continuous striving toward perfection enables God's power in your life to clean out all the dark hiding places, like Canaanites in all the dark corners of Israel. (Deut 7:20)
In whatever battlefield God has placed us, we have to keep moving forward. God won't automatically drive the enemy out faster than we can (or will) occupy. We have to show up at the battle in arms, then God will fight for us, and then we need to secure and hold the ground. Holiness is not binary. It is a long walk uphill, little by little, conquering one enemy stronghold after another until the whole land is cleansed. Progress is key, not perfection. (Deut 7:22)
