"If any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life"

Here is Part Two in this series on the churches of Revelation.

One Shabbat John was given a vision from Yeshua with a message from YHWH. It's long and there's a lot to it, but Yeshua starts by giving him messages for seven churches. Each of these churches can be representative of the state of our faith. Let's learn about them together.

Monthly discussion subject, or not?

I was thinking on how we can get more discussions going while building a library of information that other members can read through. As we are all on different levels of learning, a mechanism is needed to get conversations going as some people may take something for granted whereas others might not have even broached the subject matter.

The idea came to mind of having a monthly subject that we discuss as a group. This can be in the form of Posts, Forum discussions, Article or by asking questions regarding the subject. This would be over and above the good discussions already underway.

The idea is not to post a link to a video or an external article, but for each person to put their point and questions across in their own words so that it is easy to understand.

As example, Reuel Henocq has put a very good Forum post up regarding Paul's teaching about men having long hair - https://social.ttn.place/forums/thread/85/. That could be a subject for one month. I have my "top 5" list which we could expand on and then vote what the next month's discussion should cover.

As we are between feasts, it might be a good subject to look at how each of us determine Abib 1 so that we can understand where the other person is coming from.

What are your thoughts on this?

I think this is an excellent idea, especially if videos and links are excluded. I tend not to click on those, as you often have no idea where they are taking you. I will have to up my documentation and reference game, but that's good exercise for me!

Camp Ephraim

Sounds like a very good Idea.
Specifically Aviv, is especially intersting in the months leading up to Pesach.

Sounds like a great idea. Hopefully will create some cohesive bonding throughout the network of TTN.
In our world where diversity is so richly celebrated, we see scriptually, that it is not necessarily a good thing. Diversity brings diversion in thought and division in action. We can see this cross culturally as national identities conflict with one another. However, we are blessed as believers to belong to one body that has a single identity. This is our culture.

So, it will be good to open up debate so that we can pursue the unity in the bond of the Spirit.

Personally , I refrain from visiting the video sound bytes too. We all have to be able to teach, so speaking from what we have learned is a very good thing.

Overcoming A Feeling Of Abandonment

References:
Romans 10:9, 10 (NIV) / Hebrews 13:5 (NIV) / John 15:13-15 (NIV) / 1 Thessalonian 5:18 (TLB) / Philippians 4:8 (TLB) / Isaiah 41:10 (TLB) / Psalm 91: 11 (AMP) / Romans 8:35, 39 / Psalm 138: 8 (AMP) / Psalm 46:1 (Message) / Proverbs 18:24)

Abba, I confess Yeshua is my Adonai and Moshiach, He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and You did raise Him from the dead. Because my faith is in You, I ask for the Power of Ruach HaKodesh to overcome the resentment I feel towards those who abused and abandoned me. Now I am Your child. When people leave me and I feel unloved, I am thankful that You will never ever leave me or reject me. Yeshua gave His Life for me, and called me His friend. He lives in my heart and I sit at His Feet. That for me is much to be thankful for. So, when I am lonely and discouraged, I think of the things that are pure, holy and good. Abba, I ask You to strengthen me and help me while in the presence of dangers surrounding me. I ask that You assign angels to accompany, defend and preserve me in all my days. I know that I am not alone, because Your Word teaches me that nothing can separate me from the Love of Moshiach; not pain, trial, stress or persecution. I will overcome any and every circumstance through Yeshua my Adonai. I know that You are concerned with every detail of my life, great and small. I ask you to help me trust others and that I can be a friend to them with the friendship of David and Jonathan. I ask that You help me to walk in Your Love and show myself as Your child ever moment of every day, amein.

Zigzagging ant-laid mazes tiled the slanting wall, up to the jagged crest, as of a wooden crisscrossing wave. The knife edges hanging down laterally under the palate of the serrated crest form sand dollar clustering patterns, and fend off shrugging approaches of the floor.
Thin grass, leaving bare the muck and grit, last hairs of a balding head. There was a whistle in the air across the top edges of narrow walls and gravel.

The ants pried up the grungy grass and the silt: in the damp gash were uncovered the packed bones, hidden for the times that dice would wander the zigzagging walls.
