Lily Portion for Today: Sunday February 25

Ladies, our Adonai anoints you with His Spirit and sanctifies you for His service; He calls each of your families to be kings, queens, priests and prophets – to be His true believing faithful children. (Prayer: Father, anoint us with Your Spirit, sanctify us, fill our tongues with Your Word and use us in Your service. Let us praise You, testify for You and love You with fearless hearts, amein.)

Often we consider someone evil when they do harm to others and we consider them good when they offer compassion to others. How does our Creator view the difference between good and evil? Genesis 6:5, “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time.” The first words our Creator spoke to the mixed multitude at Mount Sinai should be a good indicator for what He considers to be the difference. Don’t put other gods in front of Me, don’t bow down to idols, don’t use My name without meaning, remember the Sabbath and treat each other with compassion and kindness.
