I've grown tired of searching for music with artists who are completely for Yahuah's Word and no group going left or right from the path. I screen the music for idolatry, and indecencies, and symbols, and swearing, and anything else that bothers me. Don't be afraid of the dark, remember Who your light is!

There is very little pure & uplifting music. We screen our lyrics as much as possible when listening to secular music, but its almost impossible. We like glam metal bands mostly. Even the christian metal bands dont have good lyrics. There a few from various artists though. Even most of the hasidic music that is upbeat uses "hashem", so thats not even a pure style. I long for music i can connect to. Not gospel, not secular, somewhere else on the spectrum. If my teen wasnt learning guitar, i wouldnt listen to music hardly ever.

What part of 'all Yahuah's Word is good for reproof and correction' does not click in peoples' brains? I get the fact that everyone is asleep just a bit, but refusing to read what is right in front of your face ir refusing to research is not my problem. This race is between me, myself, and I, not between you and I.

It is interesting. So many don't realize that "baptism" is just a mikveh. It's the purification of the body. So while there is a "spiritual" rebirth within a mikveh signifying an immersion into the new faith (similar to converts to Judaism) it's not the only mikveh. There are immersions for repentance, immersions for sin, immersions for bodily defilements, etc etc. It's not one or the other but rather one to begin the rest and the start of a journey of more.

I see it as both. We are to take the whole counsel of the Word of G-D. We get baptized in water, not to save us, but as an outward expression of an act already taken. It is a public testimony. When we surrender ourselves to our Messian, we also receive the Ruach Kodesh. JMT
