1 Thessalonians 4:3-18 ISR
For this is the desire of Alahym: your set-apartness! - that you should abstain from whoring, that each one of you should know how to possess his own vessel in set-apartness and respect, not in passion of lust, like the nations who do not know Alahym, not to overstep and take advantage of his brother in this matter, because the Master is the revenger of all such, as we indeed said to you before and earnestly warned. For Alahym did not call us to uncleanness, but in set-apartness. Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but Alahym, who also gives us Yahuah’s Set-apart Spirit. And it is not necessary to write to you about brotherly love, for you yourselves are taught by Alahym to love one another, for, in fact, you do so toward all the brothers who are in Makedonia. But we call upon you, brothers, that you do so more and more, and to make it your ambition to live peaceably, and to attend to your own, and to work with your hands, as we commanded you, so that you behave decently toward those who are outside, and not be in any need. Now, brothers, we do not wish you to be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you be sad as others who have no expectation. For if we believe that Yahshua died and rose again, so also Alahym shall bring with Yahuah those who sleep in Yahshua. For this we say to you by the word of the Master, that we, the living who are left over at the coming of the Master shall in no way go before those who are asleep. Because the Master Himself shall come down from heaven with a shout, with the voice of a chief messenger, and with the trumpet of Alahym, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first. Then we, the living who are left over, shall be caught away together with them in the clouds to meet the Master in the air - and so we shall always be with the Master. So, then, encourage one another with these words.

This is yet another place where paul contradicts other witnesses. Here, it says "For this we say to you by the word of the Master, that we, the living who are left over at the coming of the Master shall in no way go before those who are asleep." However, Revelation 20:4-5 says the first resurrection does not occur until after the millennial reign.

I read from rev 6 thru 20:5 yesterday. The dead are not risen until 20:5. There are those who come out of the tribulation well before then.

Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaks in the LORD’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him.

Deut 13: 1 If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you, and he gives you a sign or a wonder,
2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, “Let’s go after other gods” (which you have not known) “and let’s serve them,”
3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams; for the LORD your God is testing you, to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. (Compare)
4 You shall walk after the LORD your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him.
5 That prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death, because he has spoken rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to draw you aside out of the way which the LORD your God commanded you to walk in. So you shall remove the evil from among you.

Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Messiah Yeshua.

Gen 1:27 HNV God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.

1Jn 4:8 He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.

1Co 13:4 HNV Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud,

Exo 20:5 you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me,

1Co 11:14 Doesn’t even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him?

Judges 13:5 for, behold, you shall conceive and give birth to a son. No razor shall come on his head, for the child shall be a Nazirite to God from the womb. He shall begin to save Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.”

1Ti 2:12 But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.

Jdg 4:4 Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, judged Israel at that time. View more
Jdg 4:5 She lived under Deborah’s palm tree between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim; and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

The bible's culture about names is something we have lost over time. If you have a good name, that means you have honor and character. A good family name meant the family was upright and had positive characteristics.
If someone had a bad name, that could carry through generations. There is even a scale of disrespect to respect in the Bible. From highest to lowest
A name recorded in the bible is the highest honor.
Being referenced positively without recording a name is the second highest. (Being numbered with Israel for instance)
Not being mentioned is kind of the baseline.
Purposely not being mentioned is shameful. A huge slam.
Having your name blotted out of the record to never be mentioned again is the worst.

The society would shun anybody who did something awful, even to the point of besmirching a family name.

Today, we do the opposite. The worst behavior gets the most attention. How many names do we know because the people committed horrific crimes? Even within the last week how many got famous for doing bad things?

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
(2Ti 3:1-7)

And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, and none of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.
Luke 4:27

God doesn't heal every sick person. Maybe because they wouldn't receive the healing or God just had a higher purpose that we can't see. Who are we to question who God chooses to call, heal, or speak to?

I just thought of an analogy. Your spiritual walk is like an old timex watch: if you dont tend to it daily, it will stop working and you wont know what time itis. Dont let your watch stop, or Yeshua will come like a theif in the night and you wont be ready!

Everyone enjoys a good story. Some of the best stories are in the Bible. In fact, the stories of the Bible, most of which are historical accounts, contain much of the truths by which God wants His people to live. Why, then, are we more eager to pay attention to stories from other sources instead of God's stories?

Mothers, what could be more uplifting and ennobling than a heart trusting so completely that it is willing to forfeit everything for the sake of fulfilling YHVH’s will? (Adonai Yeshua, teach me that the hours I spend waiting for You, are never wasted hours; Those are the times that Elohiym reveals Himself through the marvellous ways in which He works in my family’s lives, amein)
