A healing prayer to use in demolishing mental strongholds

Healing Promise:
“Whosoever shall call on the Name of the Adonai shall be delivered” (Joel 2:32)

Healing Prayer:
Heavenly Abba, certain mental strongholds has prevented me from moving on with You. I ask You to overflow these strongholds in the Name of Yeshua. Specifically, I ask You to conquer the stronghold of ......................... in my life. Though I walk in the flesh dear Abba, I realize that I do not war according to the flesh. Therefore, I call upon You to deliver me from the strongholds that threaten to undo me. Thank You for giving me the spiritual weapons of Your Word, the Name of Yeshua, the blood of Yeshua and the word of my testimony, to conquer all forces of evil in my life. I raise these weapons now in the Name of Yeshua Moshiach Abba and I ask You in the Name of Yeshua that the full blessings, power and merits of the precious blood of Yeshua will have full force and effect to destroy and cleanse me from any mental strongholds in my life that would in any way hinder my walk with You. Thank You for showing me that my weapons are not carnal, but they are mighty in You for the pulling down of this stronghold. Through Your power Almighty YHVH, I cast down all arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against knowing You and I bring every one of my thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Moshiach. Continue Your work of deliverance of my life and help me to stand fast in the liberty You have given to me. I put on all the armour You have given to me Abba, so that I will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. I take the shield of faith which I will use to quench all fiery darts of the wicked one and I will wear the helmet of salvation to protect my mind at all times. Help me always to wield the sword of Your Spirit, which is Your mighty Word and to pray always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit. Now that I have sought You and I know that You have heard me, I realize that You have delivered me from the strongholds that have held me back for so long. From this day forward I will be strong in You my Adonai and my YHVH and in the power of Your might. Thank You so much O YHVH. In Yeshua wonderful Name I pray, amen.

Gibbsen always liked Dr. Kilver's office: despite the great variety of implements, many of them living, the doctor kept an air of scientific tightness about the place.

Gareth sat on a minimalistic divan. Though now in a seat, the girl still squatted, holding Gareth's hand again, and in her other hand she held her father's hand (that is, his claw). Mundbern stood at the door like a guard. Raleigh seemed the most anxious person in the whole business, and spoke with the doctor by one of the testing tables. Dr. Kilver was smiling under his heavy moustache.

"No," he reassured, "her disease cannot be caught by any human."

A different concern then filled Raleigh's face.

"Then, since she has it, she is not human at all?"

Dr. Kilver shook his head.

"It cannot be caught by a human, because we already have it. In a gluckast, the first symptoms of this disease are a loss of scales, horns, and nails, followed by great pain and stupour as the body is all but liquefied like a worm in a chrysalis. The peak of the disease is reached as a perfectly healthy human being. Her disease is the disease of humanity itself."

Mundbern raised his thick eyebrows.

"You call humanity a disease?"

"For a gluckast, very much so."

Raleigh looked quite mystified.

"Then," said he, "you mean that every human is the same as a diseased gluckast?"

"There is one thing unique to her case," the doctor said, placing his finger down in the midst of his medical hieroglyphic notations.

"Her disease is highly contagious."
