This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Joshua 1:8 ESV

Every good leader should study Torah (God's Law). Success takes many forms, but it can never be "good" unless it conforms to God's instructions.

I found the grace dispensation of Halloween
Ephesians 5:11 Neither should you fellowship with the Servants* of darkness, because they have no fruit in them, but you should rebuke them.

1 Corinthians 10: 20 But that which the pagans sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God; but I do not want you to be partakers with demons.
21 You cannot drink the cup of Our Lord and of the cup of demons, and you cannot share in the table of Our Lord and in the table of demons.
22 Or do we make Our Lord envious? Are we stronger than he?

Deuteronomy 12:4 New Living Translation
“Do not worship the LORD your God in the way these pagan peoples worship their gods.

One of the crazy mind blowing things that I realized recently was that there was certain types of sacrifices and offerings which could be done outside of the tabernacle. "Ascending offerings and peace offerings".

Moses even gives instructions on how to build the altar in the Torah. Here's an example of Joshua building an altar even though he has a fully functional tabernacle.

“And Yehoshua built a slaughter-place to יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl in Mount Ěyḇal, as Mosheh the servant of יהוה had commanded the children of Yisra’ĕl, as it is written in the Book of the Torah of Mosheh, “a slaughter-place of unhewn stones over which no man has wielded iron.” And they offered on it ascending offerings to יהוה, and slaughtered peace offerings.”

‭‭Yehoshua (Joshua)‬ ‭8:30-31‬ ‭TS2009‬‬

But, that does bring up a question Ive had...are we supposed to build an altar everywhere His Name is known, like at oir home assemblies? But the synagogues of ancient Israel didnt have altars...

I took the whole week of Sukkot off for the first time and am loving it! ?

In times past I've just taken off the first and last day, but this feels so much more like a proper feast when taking the whole week off. I highly recommend it if you are able.

Enjoy, it does feel more like a feast when you can take the entire week off.
