What happens when you stand for your faith? will you be laughed at, mocked, persecuted or even killed? Maybe. Many who have followed the Creator have become victims of those who reject Him, even Isaiah is said to have been sawn in half while he was in a hollow tree. Even today depending on where you live it can be dangerous to proclaim your faith. This danger didn’t stop the prophets or the apostles. Daniel went to the lions den and many went to prison. When believers were silenced evil has the chance to gain momentum. Leviticus 5:1, “If someone sins by failing to testify when he hears a public charge about something he has witnessed, whether he has seen it or learned of it, he shall bear the iniquity.”
Lily Portion for Today: Thursday December 21
Ladies, if your families bear every setback with courage and dignity; to see the good in everything – that is the essence of a steadfast character! (Prayer: Adonai, we do not always understand Your ways. Please help my family to be joyful people who follows You in obedience wherever You may lead, amein)
1 YAH said to my Master, “Sit at My right hand, Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”
2 YAH sends Your mighty sceptre out of Tsiyon. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!
3 Your people volunteer in the day of Your might, In the splendours of set-apartness! From the womb, from the morning, You have the dew of Your youth!
4 YAH has sworn and does not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Malkitseḏeq.”
Psalm 110
14For it is perfectly clear that our Master arose from Yehuḏah, a tribe about which Mosheh never spoke of concerning priesthood,
15and this is clearer still, if another priest arises in the likeness of Malkitseḏeq,
16who has become, not according to the Torah of fleshly command, but according to the power of an endless life,
17for He does witness, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Malkitseḏeq.”
