When I Fish

FIRST TIME FISHING
First fish I catch: is a catfish with fins sharper than knives that cut me as the fish aggressively tries to bite
Next thing I catch: is a broken fishing line from my own rod
Other than that: Pond Scum

Prayer -- Day 24

Be Encourage

“Therefore, if anyone is in Moshiach, he is a new creation; Old things have passed away; Behold, all things have become new”. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

Never be discouraged about yourself. You may have tried all your life long to rid yourself of your weaknesses, your obsessions, jealousies, sins or inferiorities without success. Your failure at self-perfection may be a result of relying on your own efforts. That is a long, tedious and essentially impossible project. But it can be done in no time at all by Moshiach. All you need do is to say simply, “Adonai, I do not want to be this way anymore”; and mean it.

This is written from a modern Christian point of view. The Feasts are described as Jewish, rather than Biblical and Father's Feasts. There is no comment that the Feasts are still relevant, it is just a mere reference to Yeshua.

So Yeshua dying on the cross didn't only pay for our sins, but also took away the feasts which Father said was for all generations to come. Interesting.

For the Feast of Trumpets nothing is mentioned about making a noise, shouting, etc. It isn't just about a lonely trumpet being blown when someone has one at hand. I believe it will be a time of rejoicing as when a king enters a city that loves him. All the people cheer, whistle and make a joyful noise.

"The necessity of the Day of Atonement was rendered void by Jesus’ death on the cross — our debt has been paid!" Enough said on the most holy day of they year, or is it still for the writer of this article???

He ends the article by saying "...we can pray for God’s wisdom as we read his Word." I do sincerely pray that he will receive Father's wisdom as he reads the Bible as he is missing so much of the truth that is right infront of his eye.
