The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.

Im sure its coincidence here, but since a shot of saturn is next to Scripture, i have something to share. The star of david is the symbol for saturn. Why? Because the north pole of saturn has a cloud formation like a hexagon, as in the middle of the star of david. Test it. Research it. Be careful of the symbols you use.

Many of you who listen to the podcast know that Myra’s mother has been ill. Over the weekend her mother was placed in a Hospice facility. For those not familiar with what that is, it is an end of life care facility where they are able to provide the specialized care not able to be given at home. The time has come for me to take the time to be with them and be a husband, father, grand father and son-in-law. Thank you for your prayers as we honor and remember her mother at this time. I will resume my daily thoughts and podcast soon, and again thank you for your prayers.

It is important to also know how God wants to be loved. I've mentioned previously that the world is trying to redefine love, and some of that is creeping into believer's mindsets.

We can't just define love ourselves and think "Oh, I am doing this thing because that is how I love, and this is me loving God."

In Exodus 32, we have the children of Israel, worried about the fact Moses has been gone so long, and that they need someone to speak to God for them. They have the golden calf created. After it was created, they said "These are the gods that took you out of Egypt".

Let's stop a second. First, it says they created one calf. So, why would this be "gods" in plural? In the Hebrew, the word there is elohim (אלהים) which means "gods". However, it also refers to God all over the Bible, including the first verse: Genesis 1:1.

Second, what Aaron says: tomorrow we will have a feast to the LORD The LORD in all caps showing that in Hebrew, it is God's name: YHWH (to replicate the Hebrew letters).

So, with both of these verses, we can see that they didn't create some new god for them to worship. They were trying to worship God in the way the Egyptians did. They were trying to love/worship God in the way THEY knew how, but not in the way HE wanted to be loved/worshipped. Afterward, we all know the story: Moses breaks the tablets, makes everyone drink water with powder grounded from the golden calf, and then 3,000 people died.

Knowing how God wants to be loved is important. He specifies ways He wants to be loved and ways He doesn't want to be in the Bible. Most of these instructions are all given in Exodus-Deuteronomy.

I noticed he skips the 1,000 years of Sabbath during the timeline. And uses square footage for some temple measurements, and cubic footage for others. A lot of selective and inconsistent interpretations overall.

I do think its good to analyze things more deeply than we often do. It's an area many of us could improve upon. However his conclusions, not to mention methods, are...suspect.

That and we know plainly from scripture that no one will know when Messiah is to return. Therefore any one who claims to know, according to what scripture says, would seem to by lying. If we trust scripture.

Thought For Today: Monday September 18:

Times of solitude help keep our focus on YHVH; during times when we are surrounded and overwhelmed by the cares and commitment of our lives. And remember -- YHVH is every moment totally aware of each one of us. Totally aware in intense consentration and love.
