Immeasurably More
What’s the boldest prayer you can think to pray? Or the most incredible thing you can dare to imagine?
Did you know that YHWH can top it?
Paul said it like this:
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…”
Ephesians 3:20 NIV
You know those quiet dreams in your heart? Abba put them there. You know that ache for something better than this broken world? Abba gave you that desire. You know the deepest longings of your soul? Abba knows how to fulfill them.
Like Paul said, Abba can do more than we ask or imagine, but we also must remember the second part of his words: according to his power at work within us.
It’s all ABBA’s power and His plan. But He has invited us into it.
So what’s our part in this process?
We can give glory to Him—knowing that it’s Him who gives us the desire and power to do what pleases Him (Philippians 2:13). He created us, loves us, and has entrusted us with sharing His message with the world.
We can submit ourselves to His plan—knowing that it’s all Abba, but He chooses to work in and through His people to accomplish His purposes. He doesn’t need us to be perfect, He just wants us to be willing.
We can trust Him with the process—knowing that He is good, righteous, worthy, strong, and eternal. We don’t have to know all the answers because we already have Him, and He can do more than we can ask or imagine.

Daily Prayer
Blessed are You Adonai our Elohim, for You have created us out of Your love and for Your love. You have given us eyes to see, minds to understand and hearts to love You. Help us to be aware of Your presence and Your coming to us this day and every day. We ask Your blessing on all preachers, ministers, pastors and teachers of Your Word, that they may proclaim Your presence and the coming of Your Kingdom. We bring before You all who seek to witness to Your abiding love and Your dwelling among us. We pray for Your faithful people as they each prepare for their daily tasks and to rejoice in Your love for them. We pray for all who watch during the darkness of night and seek Your safety. Here we think of the police forces, coastguards, fire crews, ambulance staff, doctors and nurses, security officers and cleaners. We ask Your blessing upon all who work through the night to provide us with our daily needs. We give You thanks for our homes and our loved ones. Help us to make sure that we have time for each other and for You every day. We think of those who are lonely and troubled and that are without family or friends. But we give thanks for our health and well-being. In Your presence we think of all those who have suddenly become ill or been injured in accidents and those who lives have been darkened by the loss of a loved one. We ask Your blessing upon all who are homeless or hungry and all who fear the future. May they know Your presence and so have courage and hope in their troubles. We rejoice that You come to us and offer us life that is eternal. We kneel before You Great King and we think of our loved ones departed and all Your saints. May we all together rejoice forever in Your love. Come Adonai Eloheinu and make Yourself known among us. Abba, my merciful King, we pray this pray in the Name of Your Son Yeshua Moshiach, amen.
