YHVH is a God of order, patterns, and covenants. We work hard today with no expectation of immediate rewards--or even rewards in this lifetime--because God has created a world in which even an atheist can have faith that one thing inevitably follows another.

Plow today. Harvest...next year? Proverbs 20:4

Sluggards do not plow in season; so at harvest time they look but find nothing. Proverbs 20:4 Every overnight success is the product of years of planning and hard work. We plow the fields at a time wh

ABANDONMENT

A healing prayer to use when you are feeling abandoned

References:

Psalm 38:21 --- Deuteronomy 4:31 --- Psalm 71:12 --- Hebrews 13:5 --- Psalm 68:5-6 --- 1 Samuel 12:22 --- Job 8:20 --- Deuteronomy 31:6 --- Psalm 27:10 --- Psalm 37:25 --- Psalm 18:2 --- John 14:18 --- Psalm 34:1 --- John 16:23

Healing Promise:

“Forsake me not O Adonai: O my YHVH, be not far from me.” (Psalm 38:21)

Healing Prayer:

My mighty YHVH and my heavenly Father, I have been feeling abandoned lately. Therefore, I ask You not to forsake me and to be not far from me. I need You my Father and I believe You will never forget Your promises to me. Father, I come to You in the Name of Yeshua Moshiach my Adonai and I express faith to You now that You will hasten to help me. Thank You for all Your promises of Your precious Word. Though others have forsaken me, I know You will never forsake me nor leave me alone. Thank You my Father. Thank You for loving me and caring for me. I know You will never abandoned me. You my Adonai and my YHVH, are a Father to the fatherless, You care for the widowed and set the solitary in families. Help me to find in my own family, friends, community or in the Body of Moshiach that place of family, fellowship and belonging that will relieve my feelings of abandonment and give me a sense of belonging and being loved. How I rejoice in the truths of Your Word, which assures me that You will never forsake Your people for the sake of Your great Name. I cling to Your promise which tells me that You will not cast away the righteous and You will not help evildoers. I believe Your Word Father and it brings comfort to me. With Your help dear YHVH, I will be of good courage. I will not fear nor be afraid, because I know You will always go with me and You will not leave me nor forsake me. Thank You my Father. Even though family members and friends may forsake me, I know You will lift me up. My dear Father and YHVH, as I reflect on the past, I realize that You have never forsake the righteous. This certainty gives me great peace and comfort. Adonai YHVH, You are my Rock. I know that You will never leave me comfortless and that You will always come to me. Thank You my Father. Because of Your Word, I know that I am not abandoned. I rejoice in this truth and I actively receive and experience Your loving presence now as I pray. I love You my Father and I will bless Your Name forever. In the Mighty Name of Yeshua I pray, amen.

The Living Word of YHWH

One of the biggest misconceptions about the Bible is that it’s just another book.

In fact, many Believers treat Scripture as if it’s just a collection of ancient letters and books that inform us about YHWH and religious matters.

While the Bible is certainly a collection of ancient documents, it is also much more than that. It is the very word of YHWH. The Bible is inspired by YHWH, which means He spoke through humans to create these letters and books.

More than that though, YHWH’s Word is living and active. The Holy Spirit uses the Bible to speak to us even today. This is what makes Scripture distinct from any other book.

James tells us in James 1:22-24 that the power of Scripture doesn’t just come by hearing it, but by living it out.

Scripture has the power to radically change the way we live, but we must take the effort to first read it, and then do what it says.

James says that anyone who reads Scripture and doesn’t follow YHWH’s way is only deceiving themselves. We think we are following YHWH simply by reading His Word, but YHWH desires that we live out the truths of Scripture in our own life.

This is what it means to follow YHWH’s way rather than our own.

Take a moment to consider a few ways you can begin to live out the truths in Scripture. Spend some time in prayer asking YHWH to reveal to you an area of your life to transform by His Word. And then, resolve to not just hear YHWH’s Word, but to do what He says as you follow after Him.

Same with the name... some think the title is the name and have no idea how the gospel was given to Abraham.... how was the gospel given to Abraham?

Did you know that there are only two things we need to do if we want to have a life filled with joy, a life that pleases YHVH? He wants us to obey Him and thank Him. That's it! That's what we're going to look at today. https://archive.aweber.com/awlist6425868/G19.o
