Thought for Today: Monday June 30
In old times, before TV, you often found families gather around an old vacuum valve radio that would squeak and squawk as you turn the dials to get a station. It never was very exiting but families would keep at it. If they should establish contact, they would often hear a voice loud and clear. So, that makes me think: “does YHVH speak to us”? Is He also trying to reach as? YES! The problem is not with Him… YHVH is trying to break through to us – but we must “Tune In” to His Word. Are you listening to His voice?

Most Christians believe Yeshua's death removes the need for all other sacrifices, but this belief stems from a near total ignorance of the sacrificial system. No animal or grain sacrifice could ever remove all of our sins. They were never intended to. The sacrifice of Yeshua overshadows those sacrifices because of the superiority of its purpose in utterly removing the guilt and debt of sin.
However, his death does not remove the transient spiritual uncleanness that prevents a person from approaching God's presence at the Temple and tabernacle, because that was not its purpose. Yeshua's death is not an act of community worship and celebration--as a thanksgiving offering--because that was not its purpose.
Zechariah, Isaiah, and Ezekiel all talk about the Levitical priesthood making animal and grain sacrifices at the Temple in the Millennial Kingdom under Yeshua's personal supervision because those sacrifices are for a completely different purpose than his, and they will be a *good* thing.
