Uzzah wasn't killed because he was wicked, but because all the people treated God casually, as if His Law is optional. Israel treated the Ark contemptuously, expecting God to just go along with their made up religion. Good intentions just aren't enough.
Like Uzzah and Israel, Michal treated her husband contemptuously. Her marriage and motherhood died as a result.
