Is there anyone else who is or wants to enjoy Sukkot camping in Southern NY? We will be camping near West Point and would love to fellowship with some other families while we're there!

We are presently reserved for October 7 to 12 because we needed to work around my husband's EMT class. However, we're going to work around it a different way and are waiting to hear back from the campground about extending until the 18th. Rather than having to set up everything on the first day of Sukkot, I wanted to have much of our stuff set up before Shabbat and be able to enjoy putting up our Sukkah and decorating it without the stress of travel and the other tents.
I know others may be working on other calendars but figured we may be able to overlap, at least.

Just heard back from the campground and we're all set for 10/7-18!!!! It's such an awesome Place - they have lots of tent spots as well as seven cabins which can sleep 8 to 14 people each. The cabins have private bathrooms and there are large shared bathrooms for the tent sites which have showers, toilets and sinks. There is a lake with kayaking, canoeing, waterboarding, paddle boats and swimming if it's warm enough. There's also an awesome trail with lots of scenery that wraps around the lake. There's a basketball court and laundry facilities. An absolutely awesome place! Best of all, it's a MWR campground so it's only open to military and military affiliated. Hubby and I are both veterans and he is DOD so we can reserve people under us. Cabins are $100 per night and tents, with electric hookups are $15 per night.

I love seeing how Yah works. When we were first talking about having to drive to Georgia, my 6-year-old asked if we could go back to that playground that he liked with the water behind it that Daddy let them play in. Yes, that's how he described it. Well, that playground is in Ohio and the trip to Georgia and back would not take us through Ohio. Yah rerouted us to Kentucky, though, and the trip back from Kentucky takes us right past that playground. His provisions allowed my kids to explore the stream again while I laid on the picnic blanket to stretch my aching back.
I was entertained, though, by the fact that my kids would rather play in the stream than on the undoubtedly expensive playground. Yah already gave us playgrounds, we simply need to show our kids where they are and set them free!

The saying, “Everything happens for a reason” can’t be found in the Bible. If we cut our finger on a piece of paper or accidentally bump a toe there is probably not a major lesson in that. Proverbs 16;33, “The lot is cast into the lap, but every decision is from the LORD.” When the Creator asks us to do anything, He provides everything needed to accomplish the task but it is up to us to decide if we will agree to the task and how it will be done.

Hi all may I ask how many women wear tzitzit? Is this just men have to wear them or women also ????

I will have to double-check, but while men have worn tzitzit traditionally, there is nothing in scripture that prevents women from wearing tzitzit too.

The command from Elohim to wear them is for all the children of Yisra’ĕl

Scripture tells us that the "children of Yisrael" are to wear them and I've yet to find convicting evidence that women shouldn't be keeping this command so I intend to start. Yahweh has certainly laid it on my heart recently and I feel like we should be obeying whether it's convenient, desired, etc. or not. If Yah said to do it, we should obey! Now, I just need to get some and figure out how to wear them on skirts. Most videos I've seen are
women wearing them on jeans, which I don't wear. ??‍♀️

Hi All,

I am still working on getting some videos together and working more on this group. I am hoping to have an introductory video up here within the next couple weeks. Its hard to realize how much time and effort goes into managing a channel and creating content until you are doing it yourself.
