Although my FB account is still active, I'm use so little now that instead of sending notifications I get emails when a friend posts anything. TTN is a much better alternative and the people her are absolutely wonderful.

A boy once said, "My mother, a rich man loves me, but I hate him. And a poor man hates me, and I love him." And it was asked, what is the meaning of this? To which Abba Macarious replied, "Our Lord is rich and He loves us, and we do not desire to hear Him. Our enemy Satan is poor, and he hates us and we love his hateful things."

Are believers a soft target for advertising? Maybe you have seen the ads that promise great results from a product because it’s secrete was found in the Bible. This was prophesied years ago by Peter and by Isaiah. 2 Peter 2;3, “And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.” I like the way the KJV uses the word merchandise in this verse. They will try to sell you something untrue, meaning you will pay for them to lie to you! Isaiah 56:11, “Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.” Don’t be tricked into purchasing a lie, the old saying “if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is” should be remembered.
