Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love.
Micah 7:18

God takes pleasure in forgiving the sins of his people. He takes no joy in anger and judgment.

Don't abuse the privilege.

Can I get peoples feedback on what the true meaning of this command is?

Exo 20:7 “You do not bring the Name of יהוה your Elohim to naught, for יהוה does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.

It means that we must not do evil in Yah's name. It is one thing when a non-religious person does evil. It is another when a person who claims to represent Yah does evil. That's even worse and brings disgrace to Yah's name.

It's not about just the physical representation of His name- it's about misrepresentation. It's about using His name as a blanket for a particular behavior, lifestyle, action, etc. I used to get quite offended about people saying "God D***" or "Oh my god" until I learned better. Those people are saying such things in ignorance but, the truth is that saying those things has no power or actual meaning. Using Yah's name "in vain" is about misrepresenting who He is by how we live our lives and treat others.
Side note: I find it particularly ironic when atheists say the above phrases, since they'll turn around and deny His very existence. Moral of the story: say what you mean and mean what you say!

Have you ever gone to look for something that has reliably been there, but this time it’s not? That’s what happened to Israel in the wilderness when some of the people went out on Sabbath to find manna. It wasn’t there, of course, just as God had said. He very clearly told them there would be no manna on the seventh day, so they were to gather twice as much on the sixth day. So why were the people who went out on Sabbath surprised? And what hardship did they have to endure simply because they did not listen?

Barry Miller opens this part of our conversation addressing those questions in the context of what may be a Missing Manna Moment coming upon us even now. We are accustomed to cycles of boom and bust, but what if those cycles are disrupted to the point that we no longer have enough to eat? What does that mean for the world, and for God’s people?

These are sobering questions to ponder – the kind of questions that lead us to think about the meaning of life and our purpose within it. Barry Phillips and David Jones offer some observations on that subject in their midrash, “I’m Here, Now What?” It’s a subject that also inspires our musical guests, Gregory Brown and House of Aaron.

Leviticus 23;3, “ Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.” When the Creator was speaking about the feasts, He begins with the weekly Sabbath. While the other feast are once/year and the new moon sighting is each month the weekly Sabbath is considered an appointed time or a rehearsal. This feast is no less important but it is often overlooked as a feast of the Creator. Exodus 20;8 we are told to remember the Sabbath, when these verses are brought together we get a clear idea that there is something very important about the Sabbath, make sure it is different than the other days of the week.
