"Shout (ruah) a great shout (teruah)" in Joshua 6:5 reminds me of "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of the archangel, and the sound of the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first." See 1 #thessalonians 4:16.
Joshua was the first to move every morning in the march around Jericho in Joshua 6, followed by the priests. Beyond normal leadership stuff--which was a lot!--he didn't have much to do, but he didn't waste time getting it done.
The armed men walked in front of the trumpeters while the people let them pass. I'm not certain where this fits into prophecy, but they might foreshadow the horsemen and the 144,000 of John's Revelation.

While churches in America were closing their doors because of a flu bug, other churches around the world were meeting while risking discovery and subsequent execution. The people of Yah in America need more backbone.
In Joshua 6, only the priests and men of war marched around Jericho. The rest of the people waited until the final trumpet on the seventh day to add their voices and join in the attack.
Seven priests bearing seven trumpets before the Ark of the Covenant marching around Jericho prophesied of the seven angels who sound their trumpets before the throne of God in Revelation. The seventh trumpet blast on the seventh day was a prophecy of the final trumpet that Paul wrote of in 1 Corinthians 15:52. The collapsing walls of Jericho prophesied of the fall of death and the great resurrection.
