How do you all respond to people who tell you that sabbath is not only the 7th day, it’s whenever you have a day off to rest?

I agree. My issue is they always respond with something like, “Bc of grace I don’t need to be bound to a certain day.” I try explaining that yahusha’s sacrifice was for our salvation but not to undue the law. We still need to walk in obedience but I just keep getting, “but grace”!

I've just gone back to the commands in Torah, I used to accept the logic that it was a day we could. pick to set aside ourselves or that we could say we are resting in Yeshua whenever we want to be, it wasn't until late 2021 when I gave up Christmas an Easter that I fully realized that Torah needed to be kept the way it tells us, not how we decide to.

O Adonai, my Father and my King. You have search me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up. You discern my thoughts from far away. You search out my path and my lying down. You are acquainted with all my ways, even before a word is on my tongue. Adonai! You know it completely. You hem me in, behind and before and lay Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, it is so high that I cannot attain it. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there. If I make my bed in sheol (hell), You are there. If I take the wings of the morning and settle at the farthest limits of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me and Your right hand shall hold me fast. If I say; surely the darkness shall cover me and the light around me become night, even the darkness is not dark to You. The night is as bright as day for darkness is as light to You. Therefore, I bow before You and ask that You teach me to walk on water, to trust You in everything, how small or how big it may be. For I will serve You forever. I love You, amein.

Thought for Today: Sunday March 13:

Yeshua gave His Head to a crown of thorns for us. He gave His Face to the human spittle for us. He gave His cheek and His beard to be plugged out for us and He freely gave His Blood for us. Yeshua Moshiach, dying for us, in our place, taking our sins on that cross --- that is all YHVH’s Love in action. BUT that is not the end of the story! If Moshiach is not alive as many claims, there is no hope for us. However, He is Alive and because He is alive – [He is able to save completely those who come to YHVH through Him, He always intercede for them] – Hebrews 7:25.
