God likes pretty stuff. Gold, silver, bronze, jewels, fancy clothes... There's nothing wrong with that. God loves finery, but what He loves most of all is you with an obedient and merciful heart.

18 Lessons To Learn from Noah's Ark
A) Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.
B) Stay fit. When you're 600 years old, you might be asked to do something really big.
C) Don't listen to critics - do what has to be done.
D) Build on high ground.
E) For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
F) Two heads are better than one.
G) Speed isn't always an advantage. The cheetahs were on board, but so were the snails.
H) If you can't fight or flee - float!
I) Take care of your animals as if they were the last ones on earth.
J) Don't forget that we're all in the same boat.
K) When the doo-doo gets really deep, don't sit there and complain - shovel!
L) Stay below deck during the storm.
M) Remember, the ark was built by amateurs and the Titanic was built by professionals.
N) If you have to start over, have a friend by your side.
O) Remember that the woodpeckers inside are often a bigger threat than the storm outside.
P) Don't miss the boat --- to eternity!
Q) No matter how bleak it looks, there's always a rainbow on the other side.
R) “Stop what you're doing, and do what YHVH says!"
Is apologetics just a fancy church word for defending the Bible or is it tied directly to evangelism? The answer to that depends on if one is reasoning in favor of the Creator’s word or if they are defending their denomination or their traditions. Amos 3:13, “You nations, listen to what I say against the family of Israel. You are my witnesses against them,” says the Lord God, the God of heaven’s armies.” When someone is arguing for their tradition and adding to or subtracting from the words of our Creator, He tells us that the rest of the world is a witness against it.
Why wasn't Moses chosen as the priest instead of Aaron? Division of powers, Moses' hesitation on Sinai, or something else? Maybe all of the above, but mostly, I think, division of powers.

WORD FOR TODAY “how many other people have had to hide their lineage”: Est 2:20 Ester had not yet revealed her family ties or her people, as Mordekhai had ordered her; for Ester continued obeying what Mordekhai told her to do, as she had when he was raising her.
WISDOM FOR TODAY: Pro 28:5 Evil people don't understand justice, but those who seek YEHOVAH understand everything
