Thought for Today: Monday May 19
How do we achieve spiritual renewal? Firstly, there must be prayer – the kind that comes from a deep-seated heart-yearning for revival. We do not need pious platitudes and religious mouthing – only earnest, fervent prayer. Secondly, we as believers must forsake our sins, both individually and corporately. We must turn our backs on our pettiness, our peevishness, our littleness and our conflicts, as well as our evil ways. Thirdly, we must love and forgive those that wronged us and it does not matter how deep they have hurt us. Fourthly, read the Bible and let the its truth soak deeply into our hearts and minds, every day. Let YHVH become real to us.
