Although there is no punishment prescribed in #torah for nursing anger or casting unjust insults against a brother, in #leviticus 19, God commands us not to hate or curse a brother. The judgment for such offenses comes not from man, but from God.

YashaYahu (Isaiah) 8:20
To the Torah and to the witness: if they speak not according to this Word, it is because there is ? NO light in them ?

LOVE A MYSTERY? You will love Hebrew!
Hebrew has some mysteries in it. When you think of a language that stands the test of time. From the cool of the day, when Jesus The Messiah walked with Adam, they spoke Hebrew. When the Ten Commandments came down, it was in Hebrew. But more importantly, it is the one language that has two witnesses to prove read every jot and tittle. Sounds, numbers, letters. Yes, every letter has all three of these, and any one of them will witness to the Bible is the same yesterday, TODAY, and FOREVER! Any one of the two witnesses the correction of the other. Just a thought.

Love and Torah – what’s love got to do with it? This study series is based on the “Two Great Commands” – love Yahweh and love your neighbor.
In this final episode Rabbi Steve Berkson moves to the 17th chapter of the Gospel according to John. This is where we we see Messiah Yeshua praying to His Father for those whom He chose and discipled to continue the work that He started.
Then moving to Deuteronomy chapter 30, Rabbi Berkson shows us that the plan of Elohim was to exile His people to other nations because of their disobedience, but that they would be regathered and once again do the commandments they were given which included loving their Elohim.
In Matthew 24 we see how a lawless generation devolves into love turning cold. Do not be deceived by false prophets who would tell you Torah is not for today or you could fall into the lawless category, thinking you have a relationship with Messiah and the Father, but coming up short at the end.
And finally, Rabbi Berkson takes us to Roman 8:28 to show us how Love is connected to Torah-keeping as the verse says, “all things work together for the good…”
Rabbi Berkson once again dissects these passages so that you will have a deeper understanding of what Yah expects of you, so that you can do it and receive the blessings.

If you enjoy reading stories that bring your Bible to life, I strongly recommend that you go to the attachment and start following this blog series. Tekoa is telling a story based on the biblical narrative found in the Bible for the weekly Torah Portions.
It's neat to experience the feelings and thoughts that these bible characters may have been experiencing during the time of these ancient stories. We hope you enjoy this week's portion.
Please subscribe to her blog on the website, and you will receive an email when blogs come out. We would greatly appreciate it.
Blessings and Shalom.
