But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person.
Matthew 15:18
Yeshua wasn't contradicting God's instructions about what not to eat. He was using a man-made tradition to illustrate a deeper principle: Wickedness plants itself in a man's heart like seeds, and what's in a man's heart inevitably comes out through what he says and does.

Today is the 11th day of counting the omer. The meaning of the number eleven is important in that it can symbolize disorder, chaos and judgment. In the Bible, 11 is used twenty-four times and "11th" can be found 19 times. Coming after 10 (which symbolizes law and responsibility), eleven (11) represents the opposite, which is the irresponsibility of breaking the Law, which brings disorder and judgment.
WORD FOR TODAY “do you ask for the counsel of ELOHIM?”: Jos 9:14 So the men of Israel took some of their provisions, and did not ask for the counsel of the LORD. Jos 9:15 Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them, to let them live; and the leaders of the congregation swore an oath to them.
WISDOM FOR TODAY: Pro 11:1 A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, But a just weight is His delight.

The person referred to is Bezalel in Exodus 31:3 — 5, “And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship, to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze, to cut gemstones for settings, and to carve wood, so that he may be a master of every craft.” each of our skills and our talent is a gift of our Creator.
Thought for Today: Wednesday April 30
Discouragement and depression can come for many reasons. We all encounter them once in our lives. When we lose a loved one to death, or experience a problem that overwhelms us. It may even cause a chemical imbalance in our bodies. When that is the case, modern medicine may help BUT, when we feel discourage, depressed or even to give up, turn to YHVH in prayer and commit that situation into His Hands. It is not a substitute for medicine if we need it, but He ordained the physical laws that govern our bodies, and He can use the insights of medical science to bring healing. But ultimately, when we face problems, we need to turn to him. Be grateful in everything, good or bad.
