It took me a long time to realize that there is a difference between Hebrew Roots and Messianic Judaism. I had to leave a Messianic Jewish congregation because later on, I found out that they teach that things like Sabbath, Holy Days, dietary laws, etc., are compulsory for Jews but optional for non-Jews. This is incorrect. The Scriptures teach that there is only one law (or better worded as one Torah) for both Jew and non-Jew.

James says repeatedly that true faith in Yeshua is much more than merely believing in God. It's much more than simply affirming the truth of certain biblical doctrines. After all, "even the demons believe—and shudder!" (James 2:19) If we want to have an authentic, living faith, something more than mere intellectual belief is required. We must follow through with what our faith in Yeshua requires and be doers of the word (James 1:22).

In times of my trouble, may You answer my cry Adonai. May the Name of the YHVH of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob keep me safe from all harm. May You send me help from Your Sanctuary and strengthen me in this land You have given me. May You remember all my gifts and look favourably on my offerings of my heart, soul and spirit. May You grant me my heart’s desires and make all my plans succeed. May I shout for joy when I hear of Your victory over Your enemies and raise a victory banner in the Name of my King Most High. May You Adonai answer all my prayers. I know that my Lord will rescue me, His child and His servant. You will answer me from Your Holy Kingdom and rescue me by Your Great Power. Some people boast of their property, but I boast in the Name of Adonai my Elohim. Those people will fall down and collapse, but I will rise up and stand firm in Your Name. Take Victory my King and my Adonai! Answer my prayers for help, amein.
