Eratosthenes proved nothing with his well, sticks and shadows experiment;
but he did use pseudoscience to claim the earth was spherical, assuming the sun's rays were parallel, when you get the same outcome with a smaller closer sun with
crepuscular rays.

If the moon was a solid rock, you would not be able to see blue sky or even stars through it. The moon is a light. It is not a physical object you can land on.
