Leviticus 25:14-55 shows seven stages of spiraling from greed to abject poverty:
1) Lose property
2) Lose land
3) Lose house
4) Go into debt
5) Slave to a brother
6) Slave to foreigner
7) Forget one's debt to God.
The progression isn't explicit, but is presented as discrete instructions to the poor man's neighbors and countrymen.

(And his "name" has nothing to do with how you spell or pronounce anything.)

You show steadfast love to thousands, but you repay the guilt of fathers to their children after them, O great and mighty God, whose name is YHVH of hosts,
Jeremiah 32:18
Children don't inherit the guilt of their parents, but they do inherit the lies and bad habits. Train up yourself in the way you should go, or your children probably won't go in it either.
