Here's First Fruits Ministries sermon for the Sabbath on 12/07/2024, called: "Community, Part 7: Building on the Strong Rock": https://firstfruits.cc/blog/20....24/12/07/community-p
Please watch if you missed it live. This is a sermon about the third temple.
So Jacob took a stone and set it up as a pillar. And Jacob said to his kinsmen, “Gather stones.” And they took stones and made a heap, and they ate there by the heap.
Genesis 31:45-46 ESV
Jacob set a single stone and told the other men to pile up stones around it. Are these the nations gathered around Israel? Or perhaps the mixed multitude joined to him? Or the 12 tribes descended from him? Both names given to the marker in v47 mean “witness heap”. Perhaps they are the crowd of martyred witnesses gathered around the faithful remnant of Israel.
Then Laban answered and said to Jacob, "The daughters are my daughters, the children are my children, the flocks are my flocks, and all that you see is mine. But what can I do this day for these my daughters or for their children whom they have borne?"
Genesis 31:43 ESV
Although Laban had earlier claimed that he would have gladly allowed Jacob to leave with all he possessed if he had done so openly. Here, however, he claims that Jacob's wives and children were his, hinting that Jacob was right to sneak away in the night.
Same felonies mishandling documents, no charges. Same felonies with his VP/failed candidate's husband on report hush payments, no charges. Lies, minimal media coverage.

If they are doing the same bad things, there should be the same coverage, condemnation, and prosecution.
Today's Torah Portion is called "and he left" in English. It's at least a triple entendre with the culmination being Jacob's choice to serve the Elohim of Abraham or the Elohim of Nahor.
