This is referring to the Assyrians who were unable to stand against the power of YHVH and who are despoiled by the weakest of Israel. Under our own power, we would never be sufficient to stand against the Adversary, but with God on our side, who can stand against us?

Ecclesiastes 12:1, “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of difficulty come and the years approach of which you will say, “I find no pleasure in them.” Solomon carefully chose to use the title Creator in this passage as he reminds us of creation and the mortality of mankind brought by sin.
